Review: I submitted a contractor request on 11/**/13 through HomeAdvisor, a widely used 3rd party lead generation service. A representative from ERH Contracting contacted me and represented to me that he was an agent of ERH Contracting using an [redacted] email address and letterhead. When I had initial concerns about this ERH Contracting agent, I contacted the business directly about having their [redacted], personally quote the job and his employees confirmed to me that the contractor was indeed a representative of his business and that having him come was therefore unnecessary. So I continued with this contractor's services at their bequest and while he was working on my bathroom, the electrician he hired severed the water line in my building. I was forced by my building to have a master plumber repair the pipe that he severed at my cost, which was $700. Furthermore, the contractor was hired to install some wood panels in a bedroom and ruined them, which cost me $168 to replace. And he left a considerable amount of construction garbage in my apartment, which cost me $100 to remove. ERH Contracting later claimed that this contractor was not an agent of ERH Contracting and had been dismissed. However, they should bear responsibility for his work since he used an [redacted] email address and letterhead until I terminated his services on 12/**/13 and [redacted]'s employees confirmed that he was working for them.Desired Settlement: I would like ERH Contracting to reimburse me for: 1) the cost of the water pipe repair: $700, 2) the cost of the wood panel replacement: $168, and 3) the cost of the construction garbage disposal: $100 Total: $968.00

Review: [redacted]- the handyman quoted me a price for renovating my bathroom and painting my apt he started project - then demanded more money to finish project the never came back to finish the work is terrible and now I need another contractor ro come in and re-do his horrible work and I am out $2600Desired Settlement: I want the job finished correctly or I want my all money back!
