Three months ago, MrSievers visited my new home and went over with me a list of 8-remodeling projects I wanted done; I had a typed list for him, and he jotted notes and measurements and even made suggestions for enhancements that would make the finished job look even betterWhen I agreed, he added those to the listHe gave me a start date, told me to choose my cabinets, and said that once I'd done that, he would work up a list of bids for each job so I could decide what he should do firstI hurried and selected cabinets the week and, per his instructions, ordered my new refrigerator and stove,, which he said he would hook up as soon as they were deliveredI picked out cabinets a few days later and that information was emailed to himOver the next 3-weeks he contacted me about odds & ends; each time I mentioned I hadn't yet received the bidsHe told me that "in the next few days" he would get them done and email them to meI contacted him a week before he was to start work (about wks later), and he informed me he was running behind, and it would be additional weeksI was fine with thatI reminded him that I still hadn't received the bids -- I got the same answer about "the next few days"I called him again the Friday before he was supposed to begin work, and he said it would be another monthI asked him about the bidsAgain, he said he planned to work on them in the "next few days"A week later, I asked him if he could come hook up the electric to my stove, as he had said he would, and I asked about the bidsHe responded, "I can't work up the bids until I know what work you want done." I was shocked, as had the list, measurements, etc., and he had referred to the different projects several timesI reiterated the information about the list, etc., and he said he couldn't meet my deadlineI had not given him a deadline and had been adjusting to the dates he kept establishingLong story short -- months of stalling and not doing what he promised to doAs a result, I have been unable to cook or do laundry here in my home the entire time, and nothing has been done
