Eric Yonker Building and Remodeling

Review: I had a signed contract with Eric Yonker to complete remodeling of a 1st floor apartment in my duplex. His payment terms were $1,000 prior to start of work, $1,600 at the completion of the basement and rear door installation and balance, $920 upon final completion and inspection. Mr. Yonker did not complete all work, nor did he arrange for the final inspection as called for in his contract, but demanded his final payment even though final work would not be done for 2-3 more weeks. He then secretly come to the property, removed the backdoor that he had installed and left the property and the residents within, without a back door. Looking for a refund of all monies paid.Desired Settlement: Looking for a refund of all monies paid. I lost revenue from rents as I needed to compensate tenants, and had to have an emergency door installation.
