Review: In February of this year, we rented a home from Kim and Jeff Hikither at Erick's realty. I told them my son had a low immune system and could not be moved into a home with mold in it. They rented this home to us knowing it had mold and they had covered it up. I have since gotten a mold test and a blood test to prove my case against them. They owe us way more than they offered. They offered 2000 dollars for us to move out by the 15th and we got the offer only 4 days prior to that date. You cannot find a rental in that short amount of time and come up with the amount of money down that the new rental needs by then. We couldn't pay rent this month so that we could find and pay for another rental. So they sent us a notice to pay in 3 days or move out even though we told them we would pay half this week and half at the end of the month. They have been saying and doing everything they can to try to avoid getting in trouble. They have done nothing legal since we moved in. They did not even dispose of the moldy pieces of drywall properly. They left them out on the lawn for us to dispose of. They also ripped up the carpet on the stairs revealing wood fungus there. We have been so sick since moving in here. We have also cleaned up a toilet flood and a sewer back up in the basement ourselves since we moved in. The septic pump is plugged into the back of the house with an extension cord. There was 4 inches of water and my husband took over 100 gallons of gray water out of the basement in the 2 rooms. I have a few pages of documentation and pictures to prove my case and will have hard evidence in a couple of days.Desired Settlement: I have to take them to court for all rents paid, deposits, and medical bills as well as pain and suffering costs, testing fees, and reimbursement for my pets being sick as well.

The tenant has complained that the rental unit that they occupied for 2 months had toxic mold in the residence. We, as a business, do not agree with this statement. A mold testhas been completed and was reviewed by an expert in the field. Each level tested is in the low range and no remediation is necessary. The resolution of this complaint that the tenant would like, is to take us to court. Any statement that I could make will not make a difference as to the resolution of this particular complaint. Ericks Realty has had no other complaints against it and does business in a professional manner. Please contact me if you have any other questions or concerns.

This is the mold report and explanation. Also, in the last email are pictures taken from the house. These are not even half of the pictures we have. If you need more, please let me know. Thank you.
