this has been a terrible business, many of my family and friends cars that have been taken in here had to be fixed multiple times, I have had my car in there to get it fixed and took them a year just to have them tell me that is was not fixable and would pay me for the car minus the cost we owe them, they have also messed up on my car while it was in there around five times, to where they had to get new wiring, a new engine and computer for the car and still was not in running condition and as well as having the window not working as well, stuck in the door. many of times I have told them that I need my car soon, I have had to switch vehicles constantly waiting to get this one back, and all they told me was they would tell the mechanic that I was getting "anxious" to get it back, which I don't think a year is getting anxious to get it back, a year is a ridiculous time to wait for a car to get fixed which it was a [redacted] 1993, it should not be hard to find parts for it, which it does not take three weeks to put in an engine, they have told me they have been working on it, I have went over there some days in person and the car is parked quite a ways from the garage knowing that they surely have done nothing with the vehicle. my father has brought his truck in to get it fixed which they stopped working on my car to fix his truck, which he says he don't need it back right away but it needs done, doesn't mean its an easy fix so stop on one that has been there longer and fix another. I know too many people that have problems with this business and most of my family and friends do not go to this business anymore because it lack professional workers and customer service. I have brought home different vehicles that was done buy this business that I could tell there was something wrong or the problem wasn't fixed, and had to bring it back three times to get the same problem repaired. If anyone was to get their car repaired, this would not be the place to get it fixed.
My family has been taking our vehicles to Ericksen's Garage for over 7 years. After doing comparative shopping and seeing the quality of work done. I would recommend Ericksen's Garage to anyone. [redacted] (Owner, lead technician) is very friendly and gives honest advice. Often telling me to hold off on a repair because it is NOT a safety issue and when it finally breaks will not affect anything vital. He has also stated that I should not drive the vehicle until the part is fixed. He honors the warranties on any parts that have a year, 3 year or life-time. His rates are very competitive and he stands by his quotes. IF he find additional parts that need to be fixed, they will call to inform you and ask what you would like to do. I just recently had my front-end tire bearings replaced. He gets things done in a quickly and on-time, they will let you know if it will take longer or if they ran into a problem. My family, siblings and wife's family all utilize Ericksen's for all auto repairs.
