Review: I took my car, a 2000 Nissan Altima, dark green almost black, to Royal Enterprises January 16, 2013 after talking to them about needing another manual transmission because reverse and 1st. gear went out on my car. They said they would put in a used transmission and clutch. I called [redacted] used parts store in Ringgold, VA. They sold me a used transmission with a 90 day warranty. I picked it up and delivered it to Royal Enterprises on Jan. 24,2013. They called about 3 or 4 weeks later and said they noticed a leak in the used transmission I gave them. I called [redacted] and they wanted Royal Enterprises to call them and tell them the problem. I called 3 times in 5 days before I got an answer. They finally took the transmission back to [redacted] 5 days after I told them what [redacted] said. It took 2 weeks for [redacted] to get the transmission back to Royal Enterprises. That wasn't Royal Enterprises fault. I waited about 2 or 3 weeks and called to see if my car was ready. They said when they got a bay open they would work on my car. After about 3 weeks they said they had a bay ready. Then one of them (brothers) texted me and said he didn't get my car fixed because his daughter was in the emergency Room because she had an asthma attack. It is going on 3 weeks since then. I've heard nothing more. It has been 5 months and they still don't have my car fixed. I'm glad they noticed the leak on the used transmission I gave them, but I think I've been patient long enough. I have a friend who said it took them a month to get his car back and my mom has a friend who says he thought he wasn't ever going to get his car back. I live 27 miles from work and have been using my mom's car. I pick her up and she takes me to work if she needs her car for the day, which is at least 1 or 2 days a week. The brothers names are Roy and Eric Lautenbach. Eric has another job and only helps his brother on weekends. Eric says that Roy has been towing vehicles for another company. He isn't at the shop 8 hours a day.Desired Settlement: I would like my car fixed in a very reasonable amount of time. If they have run into another problem they need to call me and let me know.
