Ripped me off big time with Foreigner tickets AND Weird Al tickets
Problem #1 purchased tix to see Weird Al in May, 2022. A couple weeks later the show was marked canceled. I just figured they'd refund back to the card I used so I patiently waited. In the meantime we made plans to do something else on that date. A couple weeks later I realize that the show is NOT canceled. I contacted the box office and had a screenshot as proof (where it said canceled). Box office response: It never showed as canceled--even though I had proof that it did. SO then Foreigner tix. The ONE concert I've always wanted to attend. I purchased 10 tickets (8 floor, 2 balcony) for various members of my family. I SPENT ALMOST $2,000 IN TOTAL. So, 4 of the tix were for my sister and her friends, I forwarded them via their site, the tix would not work. Finally after a lot of BS and waiting in line they figured out what happened (website error) and allowed them inside. I get out of the show and had several missed calls...come to find out the 2 balcony seats who were given to a friend the tickets came up as "NOT VALID". SO my friend couldn't get in to the show. After traveling almost 2 hours to get there, she couldn't get in! I immediately contacted the box office next day...no call back. I have repeatedly emailed them and NOTHING back. There have been a number of issues the past several times we've been to shows from being in the front row but then speakers blocking view or I clicked on links for VIP tickets and somehow did NOT get the VIP tix, just regular ones. Box office people are of absolutely NO help. Still, 2 weeks later, no return call or email. If it wasn't the closest place for us to go to a concert, I certainly wouldn't go there. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The Erie Insurance Arena rents the facility to a number of national promoters for concerts, sportingevents, et, The assigned promoter provides us with the pertinent information to build the show for ourbuilding. They also give us a map to sell tickets, and that map has all of the sellable seats on...

it as well asany seats that may be deemed not sellable. When the tickets go on sale we have to trust that the information given is, indeed, what is going to be agood view for the show. In some cases when the actual show trucks roll in with all of their equipmentwe are told that some seats that might have been sold are, in fact, not a great seat. We are then tryingto find comparable seating for the patrons who may have a problem seat. For the Kiss concert on August 27, 2016 we had patrons in seats that were blocked by items on thestage. We had several seat locations that we gave to our ushering staff to relocate thesepatrons some of the seats were as close as 4 rows back on the floor, which were the same price as theseats in question. The staff is also made aware that if the relocate seats are not agreed upon by thepatron that refunds are available at the box office before the show begins. Once the show has alreadyplayed we are unable to refund as the show has been settled and the funds are no longer in ourpossession. If the ushering staff was rude I apologize, and will ensure that the appropriate action is taken to nothave this happen in the future.

Review: In April of 2016 I purchased three tickets for the August 27th 2016 KISS concert through Erie Events. I purchased the most expensive (best available) seats I could buy which placed us in section 102 7th row. This section and row number is clearly stated on my tickets. When we arrived at the Erie Insurance Arena for the show we attempted to go to our section and discovered section 102 was completely blocked off. They could not seat patrons in that section because the stage extended far beyond it, you clearly wouldn't have had a view. So the problem became #1, they sold seats that didn't exist, #2 they only offered to seat us in what was left in the arena - seats that were not worth or cost near the money we spent on the original seats. They offered NO compensation for the mistake. They were rude and unsympathetic. A mistake like this should have warranted an upgrade in seats NOT a downgrade. Again, they offered no refund or even partial refund for "the product" they sold. I have never seen anything like this in all the concerts I attend. "I ordered filet mignon and was given a chuck steak and told to suck it up." And paid the same. Furious. Please help.Desired Settlement: I have left 4 messages to the box office. No return calls have been received. I believe because the seats I purchased were falsely advertised, and given the lack of customer service at the venue we should recieve a refund. At the very least would like a partial refund. A price adjustment should have been offered on the night of the concert.

Review: Dear Revdex.com, When I recently went to purchase tickets to the upcoming Erie Otter game, being held on Monday April 7th 2014, I was under the impression that tickets for students were 13 dollars. This was due to me looking at their website and seeing that they had student tickets listed at this price. When I went to the box office however I was told this did not include college students and that by students they meant from 3 years old to 18 years old. They went on to charge me 21 dollars per ticket for this event. When I went online to double check what they hold told me I found that there was no fine print or any thing that stated that these tickets did not apply to college students as well. When I called to talk to the people at the box office about this complaint they repeatedly ignored my questions and argued with me about the prices. They kept specifically stating that student tickets did not apply to us because we are over 18. I realize that the amount of money that I lost was not a significant one and I will be stuck with having to accept these loses. I do however think that this matter should be looked into so that no other college students are duped by this false advertising. On another not I also checked the team's website and it also stated that student tickets were being offered at a lower rate and they also did not indicate that their was any age restrictions or that college students did not qualify for this offer. It truly is disheartening to me that this company would dupe local college students out of their money in order to enhance their profits. I really hope that you will take the time to at least look into this matter as I am sure that I was not the only college student affected by this matter. I want to thank you for taking the time to read about this matter as it does mean a lot to me. I also would like to wish you a wonderful day! Sincerely, [redacted]Desired Settlement: As stated before I know that receiving a refund is most likely not going to happen. The only settlement that I desire is for you to look into the matter I stated above and to resolve the issue as you see fit. I do not think that a company should be allowed to falsely depict ticket prices online, while also not stating any restrictions or age limits that might apply, and then to argue with the customer and tell them that the ticket prices are different from what they are represented online.
