New line construction
The construction to put in new lines on our street Burch Ave in West Seneca has been so unbelievably sloppy, careless and has created hazard. I have worked in the construction industry for over 30 years and can't believe that the hap hazard work being done. No flagman, no water truck to keep dust down, leaving hazardous and unhealthy conditions. They show up once in a month and do some work and leave and come back 3-4 weeks later. This job should have been done in 4 weeks. sidewalks have been poured 3 weeks ago and the piles of ruble have been left to create a hazardous condition for children, and others. The dust is causing sinus problems. I have never seen a disregard for the citizens as this. Remember you work for us! Then you have the audacity to charge us an infrastructure fee. Who the hell is supervising this job, should be fired. I am going to alert the news channels and politicians of this debacle.

We received your letter regarding the customer’s complaintAs we’ve mentioned in previous responses, the Water Authority is constantly challenged by people saying they didn’t use the water they were billed and it’s almost always due to something going on at the property the individual was either not aware of or corrected before they received their bill; mainly a toilet running or a water powered sump pump that was runningThe data log taken directly from the customers meter shows there clearly was water leaking for at least a month and a half around 3,gallons daily which was corrected around mid-OctoberThat’s the reason when our crew came out on December 18th there was nothing leaking; it had already been fixed/correctedA copy of this log has been forwarded to the customer There will be no adjustment made to this bill

We received your letter regarding the customer's complaintThe customer makes reference to the meter not working for years and that they paid their bill for yearsThe first bill we sent this customer was in July of They've been a customer of ours for just over years and the
adjustment made covered a one year periodThey were previously made aware of this per past phone conversations and emails

I received your letter regarding the complaint from Mrs***Our call history shows there was some initial confusion as to the reason for Mrs*** lack of water service which resulted in her being transferred a few times and the call taking a bit longer to resolveThis situation was a bit
complicated as the property Mrs*** lives at has two homes converted into multiple apartment buildingsEach building contains multiple apartments and has only one shutoff for the water service that feeds multiple apartmentsUnless the owner of the building runs separate lines to each apartment, there is no way to avoid this problem from happening in the future if one of the tenants fails to pay their water billI'm sorry to hear Mrs*** was treated poorly; although it was a bit of an unusual circumstance, she should have been treated in a professional and courteous manner and we will continue to stress that to all of our employees.Respectfully,~~

system. I've reviewed the account and see that four attempted payments were rejected due to an invalidaccount/routing number. I know you've spoken to our representatives and gone over the account number and routing number and stated everything matched but there clearly is something wrong with the entry which is causing the miscommunication. Our cash manager informed me the routing number looked like it might not be correct. Perhaps check with someone from your credit union to verify you have the correct routing number. Regarding the returned check fees, please keep in mind the Erie County Water Authority is charged a fee every time an  electronic check payment is returned. Knowing that you truly made an effort to pay your outstanding bill and the returned checks were due to issues with the account number, we will credit your account for the last three returned check fees totaling $75.00. Your January bill will be adjusted and a new bill will be mailed. If you have any additional questions, you can contact our Customer Service at [redacted]or contact me at [redacted]Respectfully,cc: [redacted] Revdex.comSteven ** D'[redacted] Business Office Manager
