Review: Mr. A[redacted] submitted a proposal to us on August 20, 2014 in which he offered to install raised planters and an irrigation system at our home. We paid for half of the service upfront. We were informed that there would be a "slight delay" as the bricks we wanted needed to be ordered. In preparation, a large patch of grass was killed on our front lawn. As of June 24, 2015, Mr. A[redacted] has partially installed the sprinkler system, dug a small ditch, and killed the massive weed infestation that grew in the area where the grass was killed after many requests. He usually does not respond at all to phone calls, our only means of communication, but if we call many times in a single day, he will occasionally call back. There is always a promise to get to work on the landscaping project "very soon, weather permitting" that never comes to pass. Several months ago, Mr. A[redacted] stated that he would be willing to "add some plants" to the planter as recompense for the delay, but we have heard virtually nothing since. My husband and I have tried to contact him at least monthly, and at times weekly, but so far, the only response of substance lead to killing the weeds in the planter spot so that we once again have an unsightly rectangle of dead plants in our front lawn. In my last phone communication, a voice message left on June 23, I informed Mr. A[redacted] that I expected a response, and that I was looking into assistance from the Revdex.com or legal counsel. As of this time, I have received no response. After 10 months, I have lost faith in Mr. A[redacted] to complete the project with any sort of timeliness, and worry that if he were to complete the project, it might not be his best work. I am heartily tired of the state of my front lawn and back garden, as well as Mr. A[redacted]'s inability to communicate a reasonable timetable in which the work will be completed. I appreciate any and all support that can be offered by the Revdex.com to resolve this matter.Desired Settlement: Ideally, I would like the Revdex.com to assist us in getting Mr. A[redacted] to respond to us and finish the work within a reasonable timetable. If this is not possible, or it is felt that Mr. A[redacted] cannot complete the work in good faith and to the best of his ability, we would like to receive a refund of our money so that we could seek someone else's services.
