Per the request, we have investigated your complaint dated October 5, Your complaint expresses concerns regarding American First Credit Union’s (“the Credit Union”) regarding the following issues: Being charged approximately $in ATM FEEs and insufficient funds fees and the unwillingness for the Credit Union to assist you I will attempt to address your concerns as it pertains to these issuesTo begin: You were unable to transfer funds as intended to avoid fees that were assessed since you had already met your Regulation D limit for the monthRegulation D is a federal regulation that limits convenience transfers out of savings ( regardless of the reason) to other accounts for a total of per monthIt automatically resets on the first of every month(This is outlined within your Account Agreement-Conditions for Deposit Accounts document provided to you when your account was opened.) Convenience transfers are phone transfers, online transfers, or overdraftsTransfers done in person, in writing, or at an ATM do not count towards the Regulation D limits. If you would like us to make a transfer above and beyond the allotted per month, all that you would need to do is submit a fax or email request including your account number and signaturePlease fax it to [redacted] or email [redacted] .
