our daughter was to be married May on 5-9-2020., On 2-3-2020, I contracted with A Touch Of Vermont Florist for for flowers for the wedding. I gave a $497.00 deposit, total cost was $1520.58 The girl gave me a written contract. I asked her to send me printed contract. She said she would. I spoke to her two more times requesting the written contract, nothing. Then the hotel cancelled the wedding due to covid-19. My daughter spoke to the flower shop and requested a refund, due to her wedding cancellation. The woman said I will not give you a refund, but I will give you a credit.My daughter called again and requested the credit in writing. Nothing happened.I spoke to the owner today. I find out, my sales person was fired. The owner said that this person stole from her. The person we contracted with was supposed to purchase the flower shop and never paid the owner. She said, to recover my funds I have to go after my salesperson myself..The owner told me that she is not responsible for my loss. She could me flowers when my daughter reschedules, but the flowers would not be like the ones I originally ordered. The owner refused to give me her entire name.
