Review: I Took my 2003 nissan murano to ernie shop to have a alternator put on I bought my own alternator in with me from advance auto brand new in the box . Before taking it to shop my battery light was on so I took it to advance auto to have it tested to see what was problem and they told me that the alternator was bad . I took it in to get the alternator fixed . When I picked up my car the owner ernie told me that he was not going to charge me tax so I did not need receipt so I told him I did need recipe saying that I got the word done at his shop it seemed kind of suspicious so I demanded to get my receipt I took car home I parked it in left it for about 2 hours and came back and tried to start car would not start so I called ernie shop bk and told them my car was not starting so he told me to go where I got alternator done at so I took it bk and it would not give it a reading on the test they took but it was reading before I took it to ernie so I had it towed to Firestone to have it checked out they told me who ever took alternator out ripped out wires out of the hernis which connects to the alternator so I then called ernie sop bk and told them that some one damage the hernis while taking off alternator improperly he said they denied it and said to file a law suit cause they was not paying for any thing so now I have to pay Firestone to replace the alternator connector a.ka. hernis cost for repairs is about 250 dollars I want ernie to pay them for repair cost and tow expensesDesired Settlement: Payment for parts cost labor and tow expenses and gas reimbursement for me having to drive bk and fourth to shop to shop total ing about 350
