Review: 6/16/2013 - Claim was submitted through a 3rd party Home Warranty which forwarded Customer to Business for appliance repair.

6/19/2013 - Customer paid Business $100 deductible during first technician visit.

6/21/2013 - Business later informed Customer that repair was not covered by the home warranty, and stated pricing for repair cost out of pocket.

6/21/2013 - Customer declined to pursue repair with Business.

6/24/2013 - Business stated that first technician visit was cost of $65 dollars, and business would refund $35 to Customer.

Customer never received refund for payment in excess of services provided.Desired Settlement: $35 check refund for the over payment for services rendered.

Only service provided was initial technician visit ($65 charge), however customer wrote check for $100 assuming repair was covered under Home Warranty and would have to pay full deductible.

I apologize for the delayed response; however, I have been out on medical leave.

The above customer was serviced 06/19/2013 for diagnosis on a Washer. The parts/repairs was not covered under his 3 rd party Home Warranty and claim was denied. His $100.00 deductible was paid on 1st visit (requirement within his contract). Wife upset claim was denied and I refused to complete repairs with her proposed dollar amount.

Error Free does not have to refund the $35.00 back but as a customer satisfaction, I informed her I would do so. The $35.00 was refunded and mailed to address below which is the address we serviced. I noticed on his complaint, the address is different. If money order is returned back to me, I will forward to customer.
