Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
In response to their reply: First of all, this was my first visit and vehicle I've ever bought from Ellis AutomotiveThe vehicle had a dead battery before I even reached the dealership, so they needed to put a new battery in the vehicle for me to even purchase the vehicleThe battery was dead from a short in the wiring system from the blower fan motorThe part of the blower fan motor that shorted out is called a resister, it controls the speeds of the blower, it was shorted out and running whether key was in on or off position and causing battery to go dead. When I purchased this vehicle they gave me a piece of paper that Christina stated I had as a warrantyThe piece of paper says, used motor vehicle limited warrantyShe said all vehicles sold with under 100,miles are covered under this warranty for days or 1,milesUnder the electrical column it says heater motor is coveredThis part would cost $150, as yes, I would be willing to replace it if they pay for the partas for the exhaust, they did say they would allow me to get it fix at a repair shop near me but they only have sent $so far of the $that they should of sent. As of Thursday June *, 2016, Christina told me over the phone that the difference would be sent to me, $plus $for reimbursement of inspection and light bulbs that needed replacing to be able to pass inspectionThe price of the exhaust was just an estimate, I dropped the vehicle off at a repair shop on Friday June *, I don't know what the ending cost of the exhaust job will be yetI have pictures of missing and broken studs that they have to drill out to be able to put new hardware inThe radio/cd player is not taking cd's, and on the limited warranty that I spoke of previously also states that the radio/ cd player is coveredI found an OEM radio on the internet, the price is $To have it installed and programmed, is $If they will buy the radio for $365, I would be willing to install and program it myselfWhen I found this vehicle on a website, I read the options of this vehicle, and one of the options that it had which I was sold on was a full size spare tireI still have the downloaded ad that states it has a full size spare tireThe day I picked the vehicle up, it was raining out and when I quickly looked the vehicle over in-between them driving the vehicle around to clear the monitors, I did not noticed that the cover over the spot where the spare tire should be, was just a cover, no spare tire. I've researched and found a spare tire and rim from another HHummer which was also a spare, the price of it is $200. I have proof of all prices, the download of the ad of this vehicle and the copy of the used vehicle warranty that Christina gave me to prove all of my factsAs per the oil leak that they say the Buick has that I traded inI have personally changed the oil/oil filter religiously every 5,miles and never have had to add oilboth parking spots at my home and job are oil free. The only issue was when we had the tires and tire sensors replaced, the sensors were never calibrated so the tire light was continuously onSo unless they are willing to pay for all parts and the exhaust to be repaired completely, I am not willing to settle this claim

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

They say they have sent me a second check, as of today June *, 2016, I have not received it. They said they were mailing it June *, 2016, just like the first check, it took them a week for them to finally next day it. I pick my truck up tomorrow from the repair shop, the bill is $675.40, which is $117.84 more then what the estimate was, but it was expected for all the studs that were broken in the head, so the money they are sending me wont even cover the exhaust repair. I don't understand how someone can advertise on a car website that a vehicle is equipt with options like a full spare tire and a am/fm cd player and when you try to use the cd player, it doesn't work. And when you get it home and look it over you find out that they only propt up the tire cover to make it look like it had a full size spare tire and pay just under $17,000 and have to jump start your vehicle the next morning because it has a short in the heating system. Yes this vehicle is a 2003, 14 years old but it only has 85,000 miles and was advertised as a low mileage vehicle in good shape. When you spend that kind of money and told it has a 30 day/1,000 mile warranty you expect to have a working vehicle. All of the issues happened the next day with less than 200 miles of me owning it. Most of the miles was driving it home. I should of done my homework on this dealership, if I had went on their [redacted] page and read all the reviews of unsatisfied customers, I would of been running away like the reviews say to do.

Hello we are out of business. Have a nice day.

as far as the dealership is concerned this matter is settled.  We sent two checks to [redacted] one for $450.00 and another one for $132.27 to pay for what we promised to reimburse him for.  We will not be paying for anything else regarding this vehicle.  Let's be reminded that the hummer is a 2003 and is almost 14 years old.  we will not be rebuilding this truck for [redacted].  This matter is settled.

[redacted] is a great customer and terrific guy.  The 30 day warranty he speaks of is his NYS lemon law, which none of the items in question is covered.  He was given a list of covered and non-covered parts.  The vehicle was inspected but as a courtesy we have it re-inspected each time...

a vehicle is sold.  we purchased a new battery for [redacted] as well.  Monitors had to set so he agreed to drive the car to set the monitors because he did not want to wait here at the dealership.  we agreed that we would pay what it would cost to have the exhaust fixed at a dealer rate because he did not want to drive back to have our shop fix it and the [redacted] is a mechanic and he would fix other items himself.  We did sent [redacted] $450 to cover what we promised.[redacted] traded in a 2008 Buick Lacrosse which is leaking oil everywhere.  we were told this car was in great shape since he is a mechanic.  We believed him and now we have major expenses to fix the car.  We hope [redacted] enjoys his 2003 Hummer H2.
