After reviewing the notes on the original work order and speaking with every staff member who was involved, there are several issues with the customer's statementsFor one, the brown patches originally were only offered if they were in stock, which they weren't and that is why they came back blackSecondly, after the item work had to be re-done it was explained that we will shoot to get it done by the demanded date, but not guaranteed as we were waiting for the shipment with the brown seudeDespite these wrong accusations by the customer we will ship the garment to him, simply to put an end to this

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.As Erwin's mentioned in their response, the jacket was initially done with a black suede elbow patch even though it was supposed to be done with a brown suede elbow patch. The woman at the counter looked at the description on the work order she had on file and realized that it was in-fact Erwin's error, since the work order clearly noted that it was meant to be a brown suede patch. The woman then promised the re-work would be done before I left town. When I came back to pick up the updated jacket, I was told it was not done. The woman apologized and said that they would mail the jacket to me and there would be no charge since Erwin's had made numerous mistakes at this point (both incorrectly putting a black elbow patch instead of brown elbow patch as well as not having it ready before I left town). Since the lady assured me I would not be charged given Erwin's mistakes, I expect Erwin's to stand by exactly what the store clerk told me as opposed to now changing it and demanding payment for the work. The last conversation I had with them was that they would send it and they have continued to fail to send it and are now going back and requesting payment to receive what I had previously been promised without payment given Erwin's errors.
