Review: On 6/*/13, I had scheduled for a learn to sew in a day- bag class scheduled for 9:30am. I forward a required full payment of $110 for class registration online. Upon arriving to the business location, I noticed the address as indicated on the website appeared to be a hair salon on the 2nd floor with a dancing ballroom above (3rd floor). A flyer with the business name was tacked on the door downstairs. Right above, there was a closed door that claimed to the sewing studio where classes took place. I confirmed with a worker from the hair salon who stated the owner did not open her studio yet. At approximately 9:45am, I contacted the owner, [redacted] but it reached her voicemail. I left a brief message stating I had arrived for the class. If for any reason, it had been rescheduled to please contact me promptly. However, as of 10:00am, my phone call was not returned. I took a photo of the closed business from my cell phone for dispute purposes as the payment was charged on my credit card. Due to this incident, I have reasons to believe this business does not exist as it claims on the website. And it could be possible that the business is running a scam by claiming to appear as legit with scheduled classes online when in fact it does not take place. Furthermore, on [redacted], the photos of the studio posted from supposed customers or reviewers appear to be fake. The size of the studio appear to have loft windows in the background with some work tables, sewing machines, and mannequins. If the studio is located at[redacted], the 3rd floor did not appear to have much room space for the equipment as well as narrow windows. It looked entirely different from what it appeared per their website. The class was not scheduled as indicated on the website. [redacted] had never contacted nor respond to my phone call. However, the payment was processed and received in full for a class that never took place. I would like future customers to be forewarned of this deceiving business practice.Desired Settlement: TO receive a full refund of $110 for a sewing class that never took place. I did not receive the service as indicated on their website.
