Esau Diaz Cabinets

Review: I contracted with Esau Diaz Cabinets for his company to prepare custom cabinets for my bedroom, bath vanity and kitchen. I paid [redacted] in full for cabinets the amount of $16,350. He delivered the cabinets, but removed 3 doors, the price of which was $450. I had paid for the cabinets in full in several payments, culminating in a check for $3100 on February *, 2013, which covered the cost of the doors ( pdf of the check is attached, along with the breakdown of all the payments I made to Esau Diaz Cabinets). On or about April **, Esau Diaz had not completed the cabinets to our original specifications (as delineated in an email, attached). When he did finally complete the cabinets, apply wax, baseboards, etc. as specified in our original agreement, he removed the three doors for which I had paid in full, promising to return them on Saturday April **, 2013. [redacted] did not return the doors.I sent correspondence dated April **, inquiring about the doors, and expressing my frustration at his deceit in offering to return them and and then failing to do so. In completing the project, he stained the curtains around the cabinets through sloppy workmanship.Desired Settlement: I am seeking the return of the doors or payment in the amount of $450, in additional to $100 to replace the curtains his company destroyed by staining them with wax.
