[redacted] Complaint 9.30.14
This letter is in response to Revdex.com
complaint number [redacted]
Mr. [redacted] hired our firm on
07.06.12, on that day we decided it was best for Mr. [redacted] to prepare his
own returns as he would save money on our fee.
I believe this is where the problem...

stems from.  Mr. [redacted] brought us his tax returns
multiple times fully prepared, however each time, they were prepared
incorrectly.  Our firm cannot knowingly
file a return that is prepared incorrectly.
Not having the correct returns has caused our office to go over and
above our contract to try and protect Mr. [redacted] from the IRS’ collection
efforts—which we have done successfully.
We would like to know what number Mr. [redacted] has been calling.  Our phone system is setup that all voicemails
are recorded and sent to our email account.
We searched for any incoming calls from Mr. [redacted] and we did not find
any.  We do not doubt Mr. [redacted]’s
numerous calls (although no one else has complained); we are just trying to
find a solution as to why calls were not routed correctly.
Here is what we need to finish
this case.  I need the2009 through 2011 tax
returns correctly prepared.  If Mr.
[redacted] cannot prepare them correctly, then we will have to charge him $500
per year to prepare them in house.  By
now, I suspect the 2013 needs to be filed as well, so I also need a copy of
that.  Once all of the returns are in our
office, we will contact the IRS one more time on Mr. [redacted] behalf to get
into an installment agreement.
Below are our office notes of
communication between Mr. [redacted] and the IRS.
7.6.12 (Contract Date) Contract consisted of IRS Research, [redacted]
Release (if needed) & installment agreement, with notes that the taxpayer
will complete his own returns
7.23.12   IRS Research complete—IRS is looking for tax returns 09,10,11
also mentioned to TP that his returns were incorrect
8.22.12 Taxpayer dropped off 2009 return, and it is still prepared incorrectly
08.23.12 [redacted] spoke with IRS again, released the [redacted]… taxpayer needs to file 06,07,08
the IRS filed these returns on the taxpayers behalf… IRS reminded me again that
we need to file 09-11 tax returns… still waiting on taxpayer to bring in returns
12.12.12 [redacted] spoke to IRS… if the taxpayer wants to try and reduce what he owes then
he needs to file 06-08… If we can get the 09-11 returns in house we can fax
file to release the new wage [redacted].
12.14.12 [redacted] spoke with taxpayer (not happy with [redacted]), we told him again we needed to
file 09-11 tax returns corrected so that we can release the [redacted].  [redacted] offered to prepare the returns at an
additional cost of $500 per return… IRS still waiting for 06-08 tax returns to
be filed.

06.13.13 [redacted] again called the IRS.  They again
told us that we need to file 09-11 and now they want 2012.  The taxpayer is not cooperating and is making
our job very difficult. The IRS said we can still file 06-08 that were SFR’s (substitute
for returns) 10 day hold on account…Left message for Taxpayer

06.21.13 [redacted] left message for taxpayer as we have not heard from him

05.21.14 [redacted] called TP to find out what happened to him… we need to hear from him
or we are going to be forced to close his case… we cannot leave it open without cooperation
06.04.14 sent certified letter that we are closing case, due to taxpayer not cooperating
06.09.14 mail was returned – unable to forward… closing case taxpayer is nowhere to be found
