I ordered a expensive piece of antique furniture to be delivered from Virginia to my home in Los Angeles, CAThe shipper was told by *** *** (the owner and sole truck driver)that my antique wardrobe would be delivered 12/10-12/11/ I never received any calls from *** telling me when to anticipate his arrival to deliver and out of the blue on 12/(while I was traveling for business) *** called to tell me he would be at my home in an hour??? I told him I was out of town on business till 12/at p.mHe replied that he would be in San Francisco by then and could leave my furniture with a neighbor or put it in a storage complex for me to pay for and pick up from??? He admitted that he was days behind and was not sorry for the last minute notice to me!!! He has hung up on me several times and threatened me that if he arrives to deliver and no one is home, he will just leave the furniture on my porch??????? The shipper had to promise to pay him $an hour to wait for me to get home at 4:today because I can not be at home (I work for a living) at 12-1p.mwhen he will be back at my home!!! This guy is a dirt bag who is angry that he is behind, (no because of me!!) and now is just wanting to leave my furniture wherever he wants so he can say he "delivered it"!!!!! This guy is really shady and I do not feel safe with him coming to my home because he is so erratic on the phoneI will be video tape his delivery today if he shows up?????
Dealt with this guy to ship some furnitureHe did not call at the times he said he wouldHe did not read nor follow the stated requirements of the shipmentHe was unwilling to work with me on shipment times or other needs of the shipmentHe openly expressed racist sentimentsWhen I left a negative review, he hurled personal insults at me, made claims, and blamed me for things he knew to be outside my control
