Dear Mr. [redacted],
I am writing to you in regards to your transaction #[redacted] [redacted] for the Faro LS Photon 120 3D Laser Scanner with...

Accessories, and your complaint #[redacted] filed with the Revdex.com. In this transaction, you were the Buyer of these items.
During your transaction, the inspection period for your items was started as a result of the Seller indicating to Internet Escrow Services (IES) that the items had been shipped to your registered address and IES noting the delivery of the items per the UPS tracking number provided by the Seller.
Internet Escrow Services (IES) reserves the right to start a Buyer’s inspection period in a transaction if the tracking number provided in the transaction by the Seller is valid and the delivery location matches the area of Buyer’s registered shipping location. This is specified in Section 3 of Internet Escrow Services General Escrow Instructions, which were agreed to by all parties in this transaction on December 22, 2016 and are available publicly at [redacted]
While Internet Escrow Services (IES) takes all care to ensure that shipping of items by the Seller is to the same address as the Buyer’s registered shipping location, IES is only able to rely on the publicly available information provided by the shipping company, UPS. This publicly available information only specifies the city and state of delivery and as such matching to an exact address is not possible. IES’ email communications following the start of the Inspection Period requested that the goods be marked as ‘rejected’ if they had not been received in full which occurred on 29 December, 2016.
As part of rejection of the shipped good, the IES Support team noted that you were not able to to receive the goods as they were shipped to the wrong address and therefore could not return the shipment. As stated in Section 10 of the General Escrow Instructions, when there is a dispute involving the return of an item and the Buyer and Seller are not able to reach a negotiated outcome, the transaction will be referred to a third party arbiter. This transaction was referred to Net-ARB for arbitration on 24 January, 2017. Net-ARB contacted Internet Escrow Services and informed us that the claim had been closed due to improper registration on January 28, 2017. This decision by Net-ARB resulted in the closing of the transaction and the full return of your funds.
In addition to the refund of the principal purchase price of the items, Internet Escrow Services also waived all escrow fees in this transaction in recognition of the time taken to resolve this matter and have your funds returned to you.
During your transaction, it appears that the Seller of this item intentionally provided misleading information (tracking number) to Internet Escrow Services in order to disrupt the normal process of a transaction. We sincerely apologize for any confusion or distress caused as a result of IES acting on this false information, and glad that the inspection period and return process allowed us to return your funds to you in full. At this time with your refund received in full, Internet Escrow Services considers this transaction closed.
