On May 11, I ordered a Custom built guitar from Carvin/Keisel guitarsI understood there to be to week wait for it to be built and shippedI paid a 20% deposit and was told that the remainder would be charged upon completion I contacted them in early July to check on the status and was given an estimated date of completion of July On July 20, I still had no contactI waited until July and attempted to get a statusI was told there was no way of tracking the production but that they were running about a week behind scheduleOn July I called again and was given the same story I called back on the 28th and demanded to speak with someone who could give me some informationI spoke with a representative from customer service who told me to email [redacted] at customer service which I promptly didOn August I had heard nothing still, by phone or email, and called customer serviceI spoke with [redacted] who told me that it looked like my guitar would be finished

I purchased a Legacy amp from [redacted] It worked for a while in the watt modeWhen I tried it in the watt mode it failedElectrical arcing and it stopped working correctlyI tried repeatedly to contact [redacted] however they were unresponsive I took the amp to a respected repair shop and they diagnosed that one of the power tube sockets was installed incorrectly causing the amp to failThe amp was repaired and now I would like to be reimbursed I have emailed [redacted] with the documentation and again they are unresponsive

In I ordered a Brand New Carvin X220C Guitar, from this company, I paid for options, that were not put on this guitar, things like a "Phase Switch" There were parts missing as well, one of the Strap buttons was not put on the guitar, nor was it included in the shipment The Guitar was hap-hazardly placed in the guitar case, to the extent that the Tremolo arm was loose and allowed to bounce around the case, damaging the finish Not only did the Finish get damaged, but the finish was NO Good, runs and bubbles in the paint, which allowed the paint to flake off, the second it was touched I Immediately contact Carvin by phone, and they would not allow me to return the Guitar for a Warranty Repair, nor would they Refund the money for the missing parts and missing customization, that was NOT done at the factory Not only would they not take care of a factory problem, I found out that I had been deliberately lied to and sent a plain jane off the assembly line guitar, I was lied to about having Active electronics installed (One of the Customizations I wanted) By being told the Body Cavity was too small(all Carvin Body cavities at the time were EXACTLY the same size!) (I was Never Refunded the money for the Options they failed to put on the guitar and LIED to me about!) Recently I noticed on their web site a link where you could requst having your instrument refurbished, I clicked the link, and asked about having the guitar restored at MY EXPENSE The Response I got from *** *** at Customer service, was "We're too busy doing custom Builds" Well that's what *** *** and one other Carvin Customer Service Rep, (I suspect it was ***, pretending to be someone else.) has been telling me for YEARS! My response to the "we're too busy with our Custom Builds." is this, "Mine was supposed to be a CUSTOM Build, I PAID FOR IT, and it WASN'T Done Right!" I have Battled with Carvin for years over this guitar, over being not built correctly, their complete lack of Customer Service, and being RIPPED OFF by paying for Custom Features that I did not receive
Not Only has this Guitar been a Problem, but their Guitar amplifiers are noisy, and the last one I had every time you turned it up past 1/Volume it blew the fuses(bought it from my Rythm Guitar player, he had only had the amp a month, and didn't like it.) after all of Carvin's B.SExcuses I saw no point in trying to send it back for a Warranty Repair
BUYER BEWARE! If you are not a Rock Star that is Endorsed by ***/Carvin, don't count on ANY Warranty Service from them

I was going to purchase a bass combo amplifier from Carvin On its website earlier in June, Carvin advertised a price for the MB-of $off the $list price, and advertised that price as good through June 30, (and that it included a free amplifier cover) On June 30, having been paid (and thus able to purchase the unit), I returned to the website to purchase it Unfortunately, the price was changed and now, the listed price was again $(with the possibility of obtaining a $discount, but nowhere near the $off that had been advertised as good through the end of June) When I called the business and spoke with the sales manager ("***"), he refused to honor the $off price that he had advertised as good through the end of June and told me, and I quote, "Dude, that's on you," and said I should have bought it earlier as they changed their prices for the 4th of July My point is that it actually isn't on me that he refused to honor a specific price his company had

Company sent me a brand new product that didn't workSaid they would fix it, I had to spend my time taking it apart, pay for shipping, reassemlbe it, and it still doesn't work They don't care about their customers or stand behind their products Might as well buy from China, at least it would be cheaper and work Carvin sucks
