Dear Sir,
The lawn and tree care industry is very large, and the continuous
service policy, which we have successfully used for years now, is presently
used by almost every company in the industry
It has never been our practice to continue
service on
customers that no longer want or need our service. That is why we send a detailed renewal
letter to all of our customers before the season even begins in JanuaryWe also
notify them that the service is continued year to year on every single invoice they receive at their door
when service is provided. We do our best
to constantly communicate our continuous service policy to our customers to
make absolutely certain that these situations do not occur. Unfortunately, they still do and that is why
I am writing you today
After reviewing the case, we are willing to credit the entire balance and consider this matter closed due to the possibility of misunderstandings on both sides.Should you have any further questions or concerns regarding this matter, please fax a copy of all future correspondence to ###-###-####.Respectfully,

It is the opinion of both arborists on staff that this customer's landscape suffered from severe winter damage, and this professional opinion is corroborated by the customer's admission that the landscape in question was fine in fall (we provided treatments in 2014) and began reporting problems with...

it this June before we started this year's service. Links to information on winter damage to landscapes (including specific to Michigan) are located at the bottom of this response. While we certainly sympathize with anyone who has experienced landscape damage due to the last couple of cold winters we have endured, we do not claim responsibility for it. We offered to attempt to revive the landscape with a root stimulator provided at the end of July this year, after indicating that some of the landscape was already dead, that some of the landscape would not recover, and that we could provide no guarantee with respect to the expected results of such a measure. Despite this, I have authorized a credit for $90.00 for this customer.

To whom it may concern,Natural Way has been in business over 20 years and our services do renew from season to season, this is listed on EVERY invoice to our customers. We also send out a copy of our terms and conditions with our renewal letter, in January, annually. Mrs. [redacted] is correct in...

saying that we do not have contracts, we do not tie our customers down to a contract and they are welcome to cancel at any time. They do however have to inform us of their cancellation. We did not receive a cancellation from Mrs. [redacted] until after the treatment was completed, hence why she has a balance still. Mrs. [redacted] has been a customer with us since 2012 and the process of renewing her service has been happening year over year for the last 5 years. Unfortunately, we would have no idea that she did not want to continue with us unless she informed us. I did look into the "numerous" calls that she has been receiving from us, and we have called Mrs. [redacted] only 5 times over the last 4 months regarding her balance, and she has received 6 statements from us in that time frame as well. We apologize for any miscommunication, BUT we do try to let our customer know year after year that our services do continue from year to year. However, we do not believe in making our customers pay for a service that they truly do not believe that they ordered so we have credited her balance in the hopes that some day she will reconsider Natural Way for her lawn care needs.  Thank you, Natural Way

August 24, 2015RE: Case #[redacted] I am writing in response to your letter August 18, 2015.Earlier last week, we had an issue with our servers which left Natural Way without any access to phones or computers until early Wednesday morning.  Since then, we have been in contact with...

the customer.  Our production manager [redacted] met with Mr. on the property.  After speaking with [redacted], Mr. informed Natural Way that he was satisfied that we had quickly contacted him and actively worked to resolve the issue. At that time, Mr. also informed Natural Way that he would withdraw his complaint from the Revdex.com once he returned back from vacation.  Natural Way will consider this issue resolved at this time. Should you have any further questions regarding this matter, please fax a copy of all future correspondence to ###-###-####.Respectfully,[redacted]Director of OperationsNatural Way Lawn & Tree Care, Inc.[redacted]
