*** ***[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered]Even though I was watching I did not know she had my window rolled down and couldn't get out I thought they were looking at my hinge which this company had told me was bent Since Gladys was unable to get out of the car they could've just asked me if anything was wrong with my door before forcing it to open further than it should I'm lucky that my door wasn't broken The company should have realized that if the door easily opened with the window up but wouldn't open with it down to possibly try to open the door by first rolling up the window Nothing should be forced to open If it doesn't open easily then something is wrong I know that this is a mistake that could've been avoided if they would've talked to me I didn't know they roll the windows down in the vehicles prior to them being serviced Now I know so this can't happen again I still feel that the company should be liable for the full cost of the window since it was not my fault they didn't talk to me during this situation.*** ***

because most vehicles tend to lock with key in ignition. [redacted] was watching her; never did she mention that you could not roll the window down. When Gladys went to get out of car the door would not open so a tech went out to help her again [redacted] was watching the entire time and again didn't say anything, when tech opened the door the window shattered...I offered to pay half the cost even though I don't feel it was our fault. I am still offering to help her with half the cost for a window purchased from R&E Glass. Kathy ###-###-####
