WE HAD A 15 PASSENGER MINI BUS - AND WE HAD 11 PEOPLE PLUS THE DRIVER ON THIS BUS.  WE WERE TOLD THIS HOTEL WAS A GREAT HOTEL BY [redacted] AND WAS IN A GREAT LOCATIONSINCE IT IS SO HARD TO GET AROUND IN SANDIEGO OVER JULY 4TH.  WE WERE NOT AWARE THAT THIS HOTE WAS IN THE PROCESS OR...

[redacted] GOT SICK AND WAS IN THE HOSPITAL FROM THE FIRST DAY UNTIL THE LAST DAY WHEN THEY LEFT, SO SHE MISSED THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE TRIP - WHIHC WAS THEBOAT DINNER CRUISE OUT ON THE BAY WITH THE FIREWORKS, AND ALSO THE TOUR OF THE AREA BY OUR DRIVER. THE [redacted] HAD BEEN ON A RRIP BEFORE TO MEXICO WITH ESPCIALLY 4-U TOURS, AND IT SEEMED TO BE O.K. - YES WE DO HAVE PROBLEMS, AND THIS NEW COMPANY IS TRYING HARD TO DO A GOOD JOB.  WE DO HOWEVER STATE RIGH ON OUR FLYERS THAT WE TAKE WHATEVER SIZE OF VEHICLE THE GRUP REQUIRES, WE CAN USE A VAN, MINI BUS, MIDDLE SIZE BUS OR A LARGE BUS AND IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE AMOUNT OF PEOLE WE HAVE, BUT WE HAVE FOUND THIS TO BE MUCH BETTER THAN TO CANCEL AS PEOLE REALLY COUNT ON GOING ON THESE TOURS. I AM SORRY THAT TJEU DOD NOT ENJOY THIS TOUR, BUT WITH HER BEING SO SICK MOST OF THE TIME, I AM SURE THINGS DID NOT SEEM TO GO AS SHE WANTED THEM TO GO.

I don't care when they book them if they interfere with the tour then they should cancel or change the date of the tour.  Also, if the other sights that they advertise are just perks and extras they should advertise them that way.  Also they need to make sure they mention that we are eating at truck stops not nice resturants and that we will be spending very little time if any at the sights if you do get to see them. Also, if they don't want to resolve this matter I will make an announcement at Sun City Festival news letter about their tours. because I don't want anyone else to have to pay for something that they are not entirely getting !!!

I am sorry b ut this is all that I can say, we had 25 other people on that bus and they were not happy about it, but we could not do anything different ad again, the major part of this tour was the price is right and that is what they was and more.  I don't like threats - this is childs play and I won't buy into that.  I am sorry but I am sure you understand, I am not GOD - and things do happen that we absolutely cannot control.  [redacted]

On March 8th and 9th our senior citizens group, of over 20 people, booked a 2-day bus trip to Los Angeles from Phoenix, AZ to participate in "[redacted]" game show, which also included a trip to the "Marketplace", Walk of Fame and other various sites to see. Unfortunately for us, it turned out to be a 2-day "trip from hell". The following is a list of grievances that should be recorded with the Revdex.com.

1. Bus windows were filthy. Bus was overall in very shabby condition.

2. There were 2 drivers; a husband and wife. While the wife was a competent

driver, the husband was prone to drifting off the road onto the rumble strips, was

seen fondling his wife while driving at 75+ mph, and overall a dangerous driver. I,

for one, did not rest a wink on the 11 hour drive back to Phoenix. And neither did

many other people.

3. The motel we were booked in was the [redacted] on 3rd St in downtown

L.A. in a very undesirable location. It was completely uninhabitable. The room

consisted of one full sized bed, a night stand, lamp, TV and not much else. The

carpet was ripped and dirty. The bathroom was unusable, with rust stains, and

black marks in the tub. No ammenities. Mold was clearly visible on the ceiling.

We all demanded to be moved to another motel. By the time one was located to

accommodate our large group, there was no time to sightsee as was promised.

We paid over $500 for this nightmare trip. (We have reported this motel to The

Board of Health.)

4. The representative from Especially 4 You Tours, who accompanied us on this

bus tour, was pleasant enough, but completely at a loss as to what she was

doing. She was unprepared, ill-informed, and of no use whatsoever.

Review: My wife, [redacted] signed a contract (Confirmation [redacted]) for Especially 4 U Tours to provide a tour of [redacted] on March 14, 2014 at a cost of $198.00.

The contract was signed on February 17, 2014.

The company's agent, [redacted], called us in early March, 2014 to say that there had been little or no interest in this tour and that it was being cancelled. We weretold that a refund would be forthcoming on or about April 11, 2014. We have tried to reach the company only to find that their phone has been disconnected

We have not received a response to our e-mail requesting a refund.Desired Settlement: Refund in the amount of $198.00

Review: We were told that we would that we would see [redacted], and visit [redacted] We did not do any of these things,

We didn't have enough time at the Farmers Market to get to see it let alone have enough time to eat there. Buy the time we got off the bus we had less than an hour to find a place to eat and did not have time to tour the Market. We were supposed to have a morning taping on the price is Right and it didn't happen until 2:30 pm. We sat there from 8;00 am until 2:30 pm and we were offered fast food again for $10.00 without a drink! We were supposed to visit [redacted] for a date shake we pulled up and it was closed all we did was sit on a bus for hours and stopped for a meal at yet another truck stop at Burger King 10pm on the way home. We also stopped at another truck stop on the first day on the way to La for some fast food. The second day we had to be at breakfast at [redacted] by 6:00 am to catch the buss by 7:15 and we had to wait for 40 minutes to get our food and had to gobble it down so we could make to the bus in time. They said we would be stopping for dinner I don't go to truck stops for dinner. It was false advertising. It was the worst tour I have ever been on and everyone was unhappy!! It was just awfulDesired Settlement: I would like the company to be organized and be truthful about what you are actually going to do and see,and not make promises of things that we did not get to do or see. I would have never gone had I known that we were basically eating at truck stops and not getting any of the tour and sight seeing that was promised. I know that there were 26 very unhappy people.

Review: On April 9-10 we went to Rocky Point with Especially4 u Tours who had advertised in their printed brochures that we would get a margarita welcome and 1 free breakfast per person. When we got to the hotel, they would not honor it and said they had changed their thing the first of April. Yet our travel agent from the agency did not tell me that nor did they change their advertising on the other brochures as that said this special was good through May 15-16 and June 12-13. When I called the agency after we got home the lady answering the phone did find copies of the brochures which still were advertising the food and drink. She said she would give this info to her manager and they would call me back. I have heard nothing from them. I called again this Tuesday, April 22 and they don't even return my calls when I leave a message to call back. I feel they should send us a check for $10.00 each off of the price we paid for the trip. I feel the travel agency should live up to their advertising, otherwise how will I ever know what we are getting as customers if they don't.Desired Settlement: I would like the travel agency to give us the $10.00 per person that we spent on a breakfast plus the money for a margarita for each of us. This would come to $20.00 for my husband and myself.

Attached you will find the flyer on the tour. Yes, it did say that the margarita and breakfast was included but this was given by the hotel. As our disclaimer states we are not responsible for any changes that the vendor does.

Our goal is to make the customer happy, so we ran this trip for only 6 people.

We made very little profit on it.

We will not be refunding anyone for the items that the hotel did not provide.

I receive a call from Especially 4 U travel and they would give me a 10% discount on any future travel. I did not want to accept this offer as I don't know how much I can trust them in the future and also I don't think we want to travel with them again. They also have a hard time answering their phones and I usually end up calling them back again so am not happy with their service.

THIS IS WHY WE PUT ON OUR CANCELLATION INFORMATION "TOURS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHUT NOTICE DUE TO THE FACT OF UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCE". THE HOTELS GIVE THE BREAKFAST THAT WE OFFER ON MOST OF OUR TOURS, AND IF THEY GO FROM DELUXE TO JUST CONTINENTIAL AND ETC., THIS IS AT THEIR DISCRESION.

I THINK THEY GOT A GOOD TRIP - AND WE WILL STAND BY THE 10% = FRANKLY IF THEY TAKE ANY OF OUR TOURS INCLUDING GAMBLING THAT IT $99.00 OR A THREE DAY SAN DIEGO OVER JULY 4 - $399.00 THEY WILL GET A LOT MORE BACK THAN THE $10.00 THEY ARE ASKING, AND THEY CAN SEE HOW WE DO RUN OUR TOUR WITH A FULL BUS.

What a junk tour service this is .... we were told we would have a great trip to Hollywood, CA ....complete LIE!! Our tour was to be to the [redacted]... WE were going to be picked up at 5:30 a.m. and make one stop and be on our way... 1st lie we made 5 stops including one for the bus drivers husband... didn't even leave the area for 3 hours later. We were told we would be Staying at the [redacted] Inn ,..2nd lie the tour director actually had the nerve to check us in and have keys for all to this dump hotel.... she was quite shocked that we looked at the rooms and told her we were not staying there.... it had dead roaches on the walls, one double bed in room and black toilets and tubs and in a very UNSAFE neighbhood. we all walked away and said we would need elsewhere to stay.... After 2 hours of searching the DRIVER (not the tour director she didn't do a thing) found a quality inn where the desk clerk told the driver not to attempt his steep driveway ,,, driver ignored his warning and needed to be towed out later in the evening... we all (senior citizens) lugged our own luggage up the hill and waited approximately another hour to be assigned rooms.... we needed to find our own dinner place within walking distance... NO [redacted] CENTER..NO CHINESE THEATRE .. NO RODEO DRIVE and NO DINNER AT FARMERS MARKET... the next morning picked up at 7:00 a.m. for the [redacted] done around 2:30 and walked over to Famers Market ,.. told to be at bus stop by 5:15 for departure to Arizona should be home by midnight ... WHAT A JOKE!!!! Didn't leave until 6:30 .... had only 2 stops on the way home ... one for a burger(no leisurely dinner as told) and the other for gas in the bus.... plus we had anther 4 stops to drop off passengers ... 3 stops 2 passengers each and 1 stop 6 passengers....now the real kicker ... the bus driver was RUDE, DROVE AN UNSAFE FILTHY DIRTY BUS.... WINDOWS HAD ENOUGH DEAD BUGS FROM PROBABLY 3 TRIPS ... BATHROOMS STUNK AND HAD NO TOILET PAPER AND DRIVER HAD EAR PLUGS LISTENING TO HIS MUSIC .. CHANGING STATIONS ON HIS PHONE AS NEEDED ... HE CONTINUALLY DROVE OFF THE ROAD...

As for the tour director she was a piece of work .... she did nothing for anyone ... couldn't even answer questions ...

I WOULD ADVISE NO-ONE TO EVER USE ESPECIALLY 4 U TOURS ... YOU WOULD TAKE YOUR OWN LIFE INTO YOUR HANDS...

THIS TRIP WAS A NIGHTMARE....

I contacted Especially 4 U Travel on Monday, March 17, 2014, (at 9:00 AM) to make reservations for 3 people on the tour to Algodones scheduled to depart for Friday, March 21, 2014. [redacted] was the Especially 4 U Travel representative to whom I spoke. I explained that I wished to make reservations for 3 and she advised that she would call me back within an hour. Accordingly, I left her my phone number.
Friday, March 21, 2014, has come and gone and I never received the promised return phone call and obviously did not go on the tour...even though [redacted] advised there were 13 people already signed up for the trip.
Clearly, Especially 4 U Travel does not need business from the general public. I would highly recommend travelers use another travel agent if they want courteous, respectful service.
I elected not to file a complaint with [redacted] because it would be pointless. [redacted], nor anyone else, can make a business respect their customers.

We took the tour to LA and "[redacted]". This tour was the worst touring experience that we have ever had in years of tours. We were told, that there would be a touring bus. Instead, two 12-15 passenger vans showed up. Absolutely no room in the rear seats, and impossible leg room for an 8 hour drive. Second, the guides did not know where they were going. Passengers were telling the drivers, from the [redacted], how to get to each location.

After the show, it took 3 hours to go 20 miles in rush hour traffic, and they had to pull off and find a gas station in this traffic mess. These guides should have filled up with gas before they loaded the guests. It took hours to get back to Phoenix , and we arrived at 3:00am in Sun City, and many had to go on to Mesa. This was a nightmare from the beginning to the end. The hotel was nice and the actual show was fun,but nothing was as advertised. Do not take this tour! We were not given evaluation comment sheets for a reason. Here it is.

Review: It is truly incomprehensible that your doors are still open flag ranting the delusional business of the travel industry It has now been over 3 months since returning from [redacted] on Dec. 6"' and I have yet to receive monies due as set out below How the hell more time do you need for overdue rebates??????????????????

To date, I am still awaiting reimbursement for the dinner cancelled at [redacted] due to inclement weather, the cancellation of the [redacted] show and balance due from the $66.00 for shuttle service out of [redacted] to the [redacted] airport has since not been addressed nor satisfied. Coupled with this burden, I also had to arrange accommodations the Sunday prior to departure and repeat upon return causing an unnecessary burdomesome out of more monies. The non-inclusive surprising $50.00 for baggage handling also caused more of a burden. The cancellation of the Shoshi show was of course due to inclement weather. Albeit, who in their right mind would purchase tickets with a non-refundable policy? I do not have $49.10 to arbitrarily throw away. If it were not for the efforts of [redacted] I probably would never joined your delusional agenda. Her reassurances went as fqr as the delete button. Had I not been to [redacted] previously, I might have overlooked many of your inequities; however I did go with a travel agency whose professionalism was most enjoyable and beneficial. Your tactic and promises are formidable. It's sad that your doors are still open and I will do my best to help you close them permanently. In hindsight, the negative reviews posted on your website should have been a warning. I shall be posting my own negative review posthaste.

Restitution was never addressed nor an amenable cost factor offered and submitted in full.

Air arrangements were never submitted but one week prior to departure. Since full payment was made as requested, October 24, 2013. Were I aware of the obvious obstacles and inconveniences viz. traversing from [redacted] to [redacted] airport per your air arrangement, I would have cancelled the trip and thus lost all monies paid. As a part of your itinerary to [redacted], four (4) shows were booked in ONE day...Who in their right mind would beset such a schedule when this was to be a relaxing trip. Not included was [redacted] which would ha e taken up some of the ridiculous shows booked and would have depicted the true reason for my choice...viz. "Christmas". Also cancelled were the arrangements to visit the [redacted] facility without ant} options. Had it not bee for the [redacted] Ticket & Travel personnel, the experience would have been for naught and the whole week would have been unjustified. The cost presented by ESP4-U certainly was deceptive. This trip was to be a departure from a three year medical issue and most assuredly not intended to overspend due to the negligence and inequities of ESP4-U.Desired Settlement: I am requesting monies due which, in all probability, I have a snowballs chance in hell recouping

Good afternoon I am finally able to answer this, sorry I am late, but just got the information late yesterday and wanted it to be correct. I talked to [redacted] Tour and Travel and the lady she said was so great, is true. We are members of the [redacted] and we use sister tour companies in some areas to make sure the people are well cared for, as we only had 4 on this tour. The baggage, we are not responsible for, that is an airline charge, and we have no control whatsoever for this.She knew in the beginning, we do not pick up out of the valley - we do local valley airport pick ups, but if you are out of the valley we deduct $50.00 from her bill, as that is what we had figured into the cost. She did get this according to our accounting when she paid her final bill. This was an unfortunate time for them to go, as they had snow for the first time. We go every Dec and never have encountered with this. They closed the roads the night they were to go to the [redacted] show and also the dinner, and NO ONE WAS TO BE ON THE HIGHWAY OR THEY WOULD GET A TICKET. They did get a $25.00 coupon to be used at any [redacted] - and the show did not refund anything, do to the fact that it was a natural distater, and they had all intensions of doing the show. This would be no difference than the people flying somewhere and got stuck and had to overnight, this would be out of their pocket as the weather is known as a "act of God". I hope that she understands all of this, and the person that sold this to her was very surprised as she had not heard anything until I called her. In April 2015, we contracted with Especially 4U Tours for a two night/three day tour of Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point), Mexico. The trip included a motor coach and a stay at the Playa Bonita Report. Our trip began in a strip mall parking lot with the driver of the van moving about the parking lot in his unmarked, 6-passenger van with Texas plates, asking people if they were going to Rocky Point. We reluctantly got in and proceeded to pick up the remaining passengers. The van was very crowded but we were on our way to Mexico. On the way, the driver/tour director informed us that our venue had changed to the Vina del Mar. Never having been to Rocky Point, we thought that was just a different resort on the beach. The Vina del Mar turned out to be a motel that was not on the beach, nor was the beach accessible from the hotel. You could see the water but you would have had to climb down huge rocks to get to the water. There was no beach. The room was unpainted on some walls, dirty, there were mold-like spots in the bathroom, filthy brown tile grout, and you could not flush toilet paper down the toilet. You were to put the toilet paper in a basket next to the toilet, right under where the towels hung outside the shower. We complained at the desk but they said the trash is emptied daily and there was nothing else they could do. There were concrete blocks painted to look like night stands and a small area to hang your clothes. We felt safer living out of the suitcase. Once we were at the daily Happy Hour at the Playa Bonita, we quickly realized what a night and day difference there was between this resort on a beautiful beach and the motel where we were staying. We took a taxi to the resort several times so we could walk on the beach and enjoy the venue where we were supposed to be staying. The bottom line is that we paid for a tour that included a motor coach and a two night/three day stay at the Playa Bonita Resort and our money should be refunded due to the huge difference in living and travel accommodations. It’s not our fault that Especially 4U Tours did not fill the room block that would have guaranteed a motor coach and a special rate at the Playa Bonita. So we were stuck at the bottom end of the travel and venue spectrum. We would not recommend Especially 4 U Tours to anyone. Go out of your way to avoid using them.
