Review: I have been a user of the ESPN Fantasy Sports sight for several years. Last night there was a glitch that removed me from my fantasy football league and didn't allow me to draft my team, having me be autodrafted. Now, 90 minutes before my draft I tried calling the espn fantasy helpline. After 30minutes of being on hold, without communication from anyone, I gave up and tried calling my league manager to see if we could find a solution. Unfortunately we couldn't get the league to recognize me, so my team was autodrafted. My league manager suggested I call espn helpline again so maybe I could get into the draft halfway. I proceeded to recall ESPN helpline and waited another 35minutes on hold without speaking to anybody. During this second call I sent ESPN a complaint email regarding my issues with my league and issues with their helpline. I got a response saying I would be contacted promptly do deal with the issue or if an immediate solution needs making call the helpline (to my jest.) On my third call to the ESPN website, it took 38minutes and I finally got a person, and they couldn't help me. So ESPN wasted 98 minutes of my life, and cost me $20 in league dues for a league I can't even play in now.Desired Settlement: While my league is paid for outside of the website, I would ESPN to be fined, or find a way to properly reimburse me for my time and league dues.

Review: [redacted] app glitches. Emailed early, got no help. Called and got no help. They have refused to help.Desired Settlement: Fix these glitches, and acknowledge problem.

Customer service has an obligation to help, if they don't then there is an issue.

Company's [redacted] should be disbanded.

Review: I have bought the paid cricket subscription yesterday for $39 and tax. Their advertisement was that it will be available on 3 devices simultaneously. But when me and my family member tried to watch, it wasn't available more than one device. I tried for hours connecting and refreshing before I found the ugly truth. Then I send them an email asking for cancelling the service after few hours (less than 12) and return the money back. But they got back to me citing a huge list of FAQs and conditions. I felt like I have been cheated and it is unfair. They shouldn't be tricking customers who stayed with them for so long.Desired Settlement: Please help me to get the refund of full amount and tax I paid for the service

Review: I signed up for ESPN "insider", via email. I am now trying to cancel this subscription the same way I signed up and they refuse to allow me to cancel my subscription via e-mail.Desired Settlement: I simply want my subscription canceled, effective September 26th, 2013.

Review: First of all I want you to know when my account was banned last month I did not have any thing to do with any trades. I contacted e_s_p_n by the phone and they told me that there notes say there are multiple teams in 1 person name. That is not true. I emailed you guys back about it explaining we only have the last name and you can chrck by [redacted] or whatever regards you have to...to see we are seperate people. There is no rule in ESPN about friends and family joining the same league. And its free! I just called the hotline for feedback to talk about all of this. He said he understands how it looks like a trade conspiracy. Not only were our accounts locked for 72 hours last month, but now we are banned. There were no unfair trades. The teams that DO report us also harass us on the message boards, dont answer trades, and complain about us. When they do, our accounts are locked. However...I have complained about them a few times, nothing happens AND I dont get a response from ESPN. Now this new issue...our accounts are indefinately banned. Again, because the same people are complaining about us. I made one FAIR trade with a friend of mine in the league. It was vetoed and my account is locked. It seems to me the two teams who are complaining are the ones who are probably connected in real life by some form of relationship. According to ESPN, they think I am the same person as my brother in the league because of the same last name. However, if ESPN are going to block trades and accounts based on conspiracy, they should probably look into the same two teams who always complain about us. Also, I have never made a trade with my brother (team [redacted]). Clearly if I was the same person, I would be trading with myself. I am not trading with him and we are two different people. As of my trade with Team [redacted], my trade with [redacted] was a fair trade in terms of stats. I needed a SF and Team [redacted] needed a specific position as well. Now all three of our accounts are indefinately banned. ESPN can [redacted] or do background checks to see me and my brother are not the same people. As for Team [redacted], all his trades have been fair. We all try to do trades with other teams in the league...even the two that repeatedly report us for mo reason. Those same two teams always ignore the trades or reports them or declines. Always the same two teams that report us. THAT has more substantial proof of a "conapiracy" than three innocent different people who wanted to do a league together for free during the hard economic times. We wanted to do a league involving money; but could not due to financial reasons. And now all three of our teams are being punished based on unfair judgement and conapiracy theories.I want our accounts unlocked and this to NEVER happen again. Also, I would like to see the two teams who repeatedly report us and ignore trades to be banned from the league. Their actions and ESPN actions show no substantial proof when blocking us, no reason to block us, and the teo teams continue to harass us through blockage by ESPN and mesaage boards. They are not following ESPN rules or ettiquette. They trade with each other, talk on mesaage boards to one another and ignore trades. I. Addition, I would like some form of gratis for wasting my time, locking teams and making this an awful experience. Thank you[redacted]Desired Settlement: unlock accounts: Team [redacted], Team [redacted] and [redacted]. Ban the two teams who continue to complain about us.Some form of gratis for the time and blocking our teams without substantial evidence.

Review: Cricket Worldcup which is currently happening in [redacted] and [redacted] is being watched by more than 1 billion people. ESPN has exclusive rights for [redacted] telecast and they have come up with ESPN Cricket 2015 service [redacted]) which would allow folks to watch matches at a cost of $99. As ESPN started advertising their service someone who grew up watching cricket religiously it was a dream come true to able to watch cricket in HD. I called ESPN customer service number provided in the above URL to understand how this new service will work. I only had 1 question does the new app support [redacted] the answer was yes the app will have [redacted] support.

Once I purchased the service my excitement was short lived, I didn't see native [redacted] support for the app. With no [redacted] support in order to watch on my flat screen tv the only option I had was to buy [redacted]) for $99. After spending $99 it was pretty disappointing to see feature that was promised is not available. I ended up buying [redacted], since I got confirmation from customer service on phone and it wasn't written in email I researched online to read experience of other people. It turns out espn has promised [redacted] to lot of people you see the reviews for the app here [redacted]Desired Settlement: Reviews on google playstore speak for them self for the misrepresentation of service. I don't think ESPN would have been able to do the same for other major professional sports([redacted]), since Cricket is watched by very few here in [redacted] primarily by people from south east asian countrie they think they can get away with promising something early on and not delivering it.

I ended up spending extra $99 for [redacted] along with $99 for their service.

I want ESPN to compensate me for extra $99 I spent for [redacted] box or refund $99 I spent for the service and provide rest of matches complimentary.

Review: I subscribed from their website, ESPN.go.com, for their "insider membership" which gives access to more detailed information on their website. Also a magazine subscription is included in the annual fee ($39.95). I received neither. I tried to access the insider and I kept getting prompted that I must first purchase it, which I already did. I also made several phone calls and kept getting run in circles as to why it wasn't working. From either my screen name has several variations that has something messed up to the website and magazine sales are handled through different companies and I was sent chasing phone numbers and no one was taking responsibility. Eventually, espn said that I should just handle it on my end and have my bank stop payment, but that option was much too late as the bank had already paid them. So I just boycotted espn out of frustration for the last year having never received anything for my money. Well I just recontacted them and have been looking for answers because I want to have the insider access now. The response I just received in email from them was that after a little research they have found that I WAS AN INSIDER FROM 4/28/12 TO 4/28/13 and that if I want it again I have to resub with an additional $39.95! I NEVER RECEIVED THESE SERVICES! I don't want to pay twice for something I never received the first time. Additionally, how am I supposed to trust that if I did just absorb the loss and double pay, that I won't be screwed again? I really want the product but have zero confidence in their customer care, if something should happen again.Desired Settlement: All I want is for espn to give me what I paid for originally, 1 year of insider. And make sure that it actually works once I have it. I have had insider in the past, never had any problems with it until this last one. Its not a login issue.

Review: I would like to file a complaint I keep getting free magazines from ESPN I have not made any payment on them & please be assure that the poblisher missed spelled my last name 7 somebody made have sent that information to the post offices & plus some body is sending that as other mailing information to other companies like car dearlers & other companies as well I have also got a letter in the past from [redacted] dealer & my last name was missed spelled as well I just want ESPN to cancel all my magazines as soon a possible.Desired Settlement: I just want to cancel all such orders from ESPN Magazine poblisher I can not make a payment its just that its not free!

Review: I purchased a monthly subscription to ESPN Player ([redacted]) while I was abroad in Germany. Certain games were advertised to be broadcast LIVE, and that was the sole purpose for buying this subscription. Since I was planning to watch three separate games, the cost of a monthly subscription (19,99 euro) was cheaper than 3 separate one-day passes (9,99 euro each). I was planning to cancel the subscription immediately after the 3rd game. The night of the first game, the service malfunctioned. The "live" games being broadcast had actually ended hours earlier, and the games that were currently being played were not available. This amounts to false advertising in my opinion. I looked at their FAQ and it said the only way to cancel a subscription is by emailing support (with a response time of 12 hours). So I sent an email requesting that my subscription be canceled and an issue be refunded. Since I could not watch this game live I had no interest in the service. They responded apologizing and stating that the games could be watched now - a day after they had been played. Again, that is useless to me since I wanted to watch them live and not the day after. False advertising. Since then I've sent 4 more emails requesting my subscription be canceled and refund issued. These emails have gone entirely ignored. As far as I know, they plan on billing me 19,99 euro every month for eternity and broadcasting games the day after they're played.

Product_Or_Service: ESPN Player [redacted] Order_Number: [redacted]Desired Settlement: Full refund, since I did not use their service period. And a cancellation of my monthly subscription.

Review: Simply put. I canceled my subscription as an insider. I was told I had a refund coming to me for a total of $23.16 and I told them that the account I had made the purchase with was closed. So the representative asked for my new account information and I gave it to him. He repeated it back to me and what he repeated was the correct info for the new account. He said it would take 3-5 business days to get the refund. It never came. I have been emailing trying to get my refund and ESPN says they sent it to the old account and that I had to fix there mistake with the old bank because they wouldnt fix it. [redacted] bank says they reject and send back all payment/refunds to the group making it, in this case back to ESPN. With this information and the money back in there accounts they still will not refund me my money.

Review: I subscribe to ESPN College Pass on the ESPN Player. The cost of this access is about 130 USD. The purchase is supposed to give me access to a large number of college games in various sports. Please allow me to first give a little background information. Europeans interested in college sports, the NFL, NHL and MLB were able to watch these sports on North American Sports Network since 2002. This station was taken over in 2007 by ESPN and rebranded in 2009. They shut down operations in August of this year forcing dedicated sports fans to use their ESPN Player and purchase College Pass to see the games. This, in itself, is not the problem but it might explain the emotional outbursts from many sports fans who have been treated to a less than ideal service. Most of us had to pay extra to our suppliers for the access to this stationI have been in contact with ESPN Customer Support on a few occasions already this year. They were not good about answering the actual questions and seemed to give a lot of lip-service. I believe they had a big problem the first three weeks of the college football season and were unable to handle the situation. I also believe they are gambling on the fact that many if not most of their subscribers to this service are overseas and won't be able to really do anything or just don't consider it worthwhile for 130 dollars. They have completely avoided my questions regarding possible compensation. This weekend I found myself locked out of my account with no explanation and when I tried to contact customer support regarding the matter it seems it was outside of their working hours. As College Pass is mainly for college football this seems to be out of touch with reality. Subsequently, I was unable to watch the [redacted] game that I got up very early in the morning to see.I consider this very careless for a company with the brand-recognition of ESPN and would like a more human and pro-active support going forward.Desired Settlement: I would still like to subscribe and have access, but consider a discount is more than reasonable as they are not providing the service reliably. As many of their subscribers are overseas and might not know how to lodge a complaint and since they got many more subscribers than originally expected (probably part of the problem) I believe a global discount of at least 20% would be very reasonable.

Review: [redacted] is a sports event that[redacted] is going to stream online. Earlier advertising as well as email from customer service (attached below) promised support of [redacted] which allows streaming from [redacted] mobile devices directly to the TV (wirelessly). But less than 24 hours before start of the event, I have been told that it will not be supported. That affects customer experience - I am stuck with having to see the sports event on a small [redacted] device rather than large LCD TV. =================================== Re: [ ref:_00D4080H6._50040k5srz:ref ] Inbox x [redacted] Feb 12 (1 day ago) to me Hello, Thank you for contacting us. I apologize about the inconvenience. You can stream ESPN [redacted] via Chromecast from your Android device. For live assistance with this or any other issue, please call Customer Care at [redacted] (ESPN) between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. EST. [redacted] ESPN.com Customer Care =====================================Desired Settlement: At least 50% off on the event pricing due to reduced satisfaction as well as not being able to provide appropriate customer experience

Review: ESPN- Woke up today to find out my bank account was overdrawn because ESPN decided to renew the magazine subscription I didn't want in the first place. All I wanted was access to their "insider" news on their website but I had to sign up for the magazine too. I was supposed to get 3 years of "insider" and one year of the magazine. Instead I got six months of insider and double charged for the crappy magazine no one wants.Of course to make matters worse, ESPN charged my card at the worst possible time. The $26 dollar charge actually caused me to be overdrawn by $.19 which in turn cost me another $37 in overdraft fees. And there is nothing I can do about it other than posting a complaint on the Revdex.com.

Product_Or_Service: espn insider and magazineDesired Settlement: I'd like the $26 dollars back and to never have anything to do with ESPN again for life. I also feel that they are responsible for the $37 overdraft fee.
