Review: On 9/**/2013 my fiance [redacted] and I was at Major purchasing a 2010 Honda Accord. In order to get the car off the lot we had to purchase car insurance. The salesman from Major World [redacted] took us to Esquire Insurance Agency which at that time was affordable. We spoke [redacted] (Assistant Manager) and purchased insurance in the amount $350.00, which we paid $200.00 from my debit card which was explained that it should only be a one time payment. My fiance used his Capital One credit card and paid $98.00 which left a balance of $52.00 in which [redacted] said we could bring back to her later that week. She provided us with a Two month temporary insurance card from progressive. On 9/**/2013, I arrived from work and retrieved my mail which was from TD bank informing that my account had been over draft $393.00 to progressive. I immediately contacted progressive to inquire as to why this money was withdrawn and who authorized them to do this. Progressive had no knowledge of the $298.00 payment to Esquire, told me that Esquire authorized the additional payment. I was further informed that the policy [redacted] gave us was invalid as they only six month policies. I told the supervisor at progressive I never authorized any other payments besides the $200.00 to be withdrawn from my account and [redacted] had no right to authorize this. Progressive is also launching an investigation in to how this two month policy was issuedDesired Settlement: I would Esquire to refund my $298.00 as it was never given to progressive.

Esquire Insurance Agency received the above referenced complaint and appreciates the opportunity to respond. [redacted] complains that the recent insurance transaction on September [redacted], 2013 between herself . and 'Esquire Insurance was not properly explained to her. [redacted] and her fiance, [redacted], had just purchased a 2010 Honda Accord. They informed us of only having three hundred dollars and if we could assist them in obtaining insurance. After researching multiple companies, the best company we had based on the situation was Progressive. We explained to them that the total deposit would be $743.00 which breaks down as follows: $393.00 would go directly to Progressive right from her checking account, (she spent over 30 minutes here in the office to obtain her account information) .and $350.00 is the one time broker's fee to Esquire Insurance.

It was clearly explained to [redacted] and [redacted] that $393.00 would come directly from her checking account and the $350.00 would go towards Esquire's broker fee. We accommodated them by reducing our broker's fee and. allowed them to pay $298.00 (claiming that's all they had at the moment), and agreeing that they would bring us the balance of $52.00 within a week's time. They agreed upon everything and signed all necessary documents, which we have provided copies of. lt was never said that we were only providing them with two months of insurance. The insurance card that was provided to them from Progressive was a temporary card and the original card with the official inception and expiration dates were to be submitted to her via e-mail. Progressive would not have any knowledge of the $298.00 because that is Esquire's broker fee and has nothing to do with Progressive. The policy that was bound was a six month policy which we have provided copies of as well.

[redacted] was informed about .all the costs associated with this transaction; and enclosed is proof based upon her three signatures on our disclosure form.

Please be advised that the previous response sent in by the owner of Esquire Insurance Agency was dictated by me, [redacted]. In order to be in compliance with the Revdex.com I addressing the same complaint again. As stated previously, [redacted] had a full understanding of the transaction regarding her deposit and. was clearly advised after providing her checking information that $393.00 would be taken out of her account in order to satisfy her total deposit. We have provided

all documentation, authorizations, and acknowledgments signed by [redacted]. The deduction from her checking account was authorized and advised to her prior to the coverage's going into effect. The conversation was clear, arid our disclosure form that was signed three (3) times and the signed checking

authorization to withdraw the money should be proof enough that [redacted] understood and agreed to this transaction.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[redacted] is not telling the truth in regards to the transaction that took place on 9/**/2013, so I will be looking at other options for [redacted] and Esquire to answer for their fraudulent transactions. To ensure that no one else will ever have to endure such unethical business scams as I.
