Essen Haus

Review: I ate dinner at the Essen Haus with a large group (the price of the meal was covered for everyone by my organization.) Drinks, however, were not covered. I ordered a drink (~$2). The Essen Haus charged me around $20 total. While at the restaurant still, I informed them of the mistake and they said they would fix it. They did not fix it. I proceeded to call them three times over the month of March. Every time I called, they said they would relay the information to the manager and that he would call me for more information, or simply take care of the problem. I also sent them a direct email, to which I received no response. Over two months later, they have not corrected this mistake, or replied to my requests in any form.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for the billing mistake.

In response to your letter dated 4-22-14 and previous contact with you on 4-16-14 we did credit [redacted]'s account $20.00 to resolve the situation. We also did manage to make contact with [redacted] and apologize for any mistakes that were made and that we had tried to call here in the past but with the voice mail account not set up it was impossible to leave a message.
