Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: Not acceptable. The show was completely misrepresentedI have attached a map that was on their website just days prior to the showThe official map, in the show catalogue shows the enormous discrepancy of exhibitors. We based our decision to attend on this representation of exhibitors, receiving a complete list of the conference participants and exhibition visitors. The offer of the list was a lame attempt to make up for the lack of Essen's failure to meet their contract termsThe list is free of charge.Being a small, minority business, started by my year old veteran father, we could not afford to stay the extra days.Essen clearly discriminated our company based on our national origin, with remarks "Stay in the US, where things are nice and tidy." " In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

The business has responded to your rejection Please see below: [redacted] admits she refused the list when it was offered to her at the showYet now she complains she did not receive it yetThe visitor list has not yet been made public, therefore no exhibitor has received it yetAs soon as our partner completes the list, she will receive itI have not seen this map [redacted] refers to and as such cannot verify whether those exhibitors were in attendance or had sent in an application only to cancel later onNot every exhibitor was listed in the show programIndeed her company was not listed, but there is no charge to be listed in the show catalog, therefore no refunds when not listedHowever, they were listed on the map of the show as well as on the websiteIf [redacted] insists there were no visitors at the show (see her complaint about “nonexistent attendees”) then I cannot understand her making such a big deal about not being in the catalog, since according to her there were “nonexistent attendees” to take those catalogsBeing listed on the website for future reference is much more important [redacted] departed the show by 4:30pm on the second day of a day show that ran from 12pm – 8pm every dayShe was at the show ½ days of a day show

The business has responded Please see below:The accusations made by [redacted] are very generalHer main complaint is “Advertising Issues” yet most of her comments have nothing to do with advertisingNowhere in any literature or on the website of the Brazil Welding Show or Aranda Eventos was the expected number of visitors or exhibitors ever statedIt is also never our practice or our partner’s practice to list companies as exhibitors which have not signed a contractBeing that there is a horrible economic and corruption crisis going on in Brazil, which has been well publicized, there were several companies that did indeed sign up to exhibit at the show, only to cancel several months laterMany, only days or weeks before the show openedThe website was updated regularlyNo company is “guaranteed” to be included in the exhibitor’s directoryWhile the publisher makes every effort to include everyone in the catalog, omissions sometimes happenOur partner, Aranda, tried to make amends with [redacted] and offer her the visitor list and congress participants on site and not have to wait the month waiting time [redacted] waved her hand at my colleagues and assured us there were no visitors so didn’t want the listsThey also offered to see whether a discount at our show in Germany was possible which [redacted] again refused [redacted] vacated her booth after only and ½ days of a day show, so really was not present at the show for the majority of the time [redacted] ’s husband spewed rude and profanity-laced verbiage at my colleagues in Brazil and told them “They should come see a trade show in the United States where everything is done much better.” My colleague simply replied “Then stay there where everything is done better.” [redacted] ’s accusations were taken way out of context [redacted] had no interest in trying to make contacts at the showShe and her husband were negative from the beginning and her husband was very rudeThey left the show after only one and a half days of a four day show, never to be seen again

[redacted] admits she refused the list when it was offered to her at the show. Yet now she complains she did not receive it yet. The visitor list has not yet been made public, therefore no exhibitor has received it yet. As soon as our partner completes the list, she will receive it. I have not seen this map [redacted] refers to and as such cannot verify whether those exhibitors were in attendance or had sent in an application only to cancel later on. Not every exhibitor was listed in the show program. Indeed her company was not listed, but there is no charge to be listed in the show catalog, therefore no refunds when not listed. However, they were listed on the map of the show as well as on the website. If [redacted] insists there were no visitors at the show (see her complaint about “nonexistent attendees”) then I cannot understand her making such a big deal about not being in the catalog, since according to her there were “nonexistent attendees” to take those catalogs. Being listed on the website for future reference is much more important. [redacted] departed the show by 4:30pm on the second day of a 4 day show that ran from 12pm – 8pm every day. was the expected number of visitors or exhibitors ever stated. It is also never our practice or our partner’s practice to list companies as exhibitors which have not signed a contract. Being that there is a horrible economic and corruption crisis going on in Brazil, which has been well publicized, there were several companies that did indeed sign up to exhibit at the show, only to cancel several months later. Many, only days or weeks before the show opened. The website was updated regularly. No company is “guaranteed” to be included in the exhibitor’s directory. While the publisher makes every effort to include everyone in the catalog, omissions sometimes happen. Our partner, Aranda, tried to make amends with [redacted] and offer her the visitor list and congress participants on site and not have to wait the normal month waiting time. [redacted] waved her hand at my colleagues and assured us there were no visitors so didn’t want the lists. They also offered to see whether a discount at our show in Germany was possible which [redacted] again refused. [redacted] vacated her booth after only 1 and ½ days of a 4 day show, so really was not present at the show for the majority of the time. [redacted]’s husband spewed rude and profanity-laced verbiage at my colleagues in Brazil and told them “They should come see a trade show in the United States where everything is done much better.” My colleague simply replied “Then stay there where everything is done better.” [redacted]’s accusations were taken way out of context. [redacted] had no interest in trying to make contacts at the show. She and her husband were negative from the beginning and her husband was very rude. They left the show after only one and a half days of a four day show, never to be seen again.

1 - The misleading information posted on their website. The day prior to the exhibition, several, if not dozens of exhibitors were listed on their website showed they would be attending, as well as being listed on the show map. This is false representation which I understood to be current. I have the map which I printed out prior to the show, which show those non-existent exhibitors.

4 - We do not wish to attend the German show. This is not in our budget or planning. We have an associate that will be attending, so it would not make business sense to attend.
4 - We stayed at the exhibit for two days out of the four. In those two days, NO traffic came through except people trying to solicit services, such as translation, cleaning, food, etc.
