Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] The Gift Certificates were given to me as a Mother's Day Gift from my Husband in MAY He has indicated that he does not believe that he was provided with a receipt, however, if one was given to him he no longer has it What I will be able to provide is the Financial Statement that displays a monetary deduction by Essential Therapeutic Massage in Tomah WI As of writing this I have contacted my credit union in order to request my debit card statement from MAY & I have also requested that my husband review his purchase history on his personal credit card. The Gift Certificates clearly display the signature of the [redacted] who issued them This was confirmed to me by a massage therapist who occasionally rents the space/massage bed from the [redacted] *** Also of note is that in the most recent reply said [redacted] acknowledges that the Gift Certificates were issued by them in acknowledging recognition of a MONTH EXPIRATION Written on them This Clearly indicates that [redacted] acknowledges that they issued the Gift Certificates by virtue of admitting in the most recent reply that they recognize the handwritten 'Expires Months from Date Issued' on the Gift Certificate That they gladly accepted the money for the gift certificates, which were not, nor will be used; however, decline a refund for services not provided.Additionally, [redacted] stated in their reply that they "Don't know how much they sold the gift certificates for" Which indicates either poor, or no, record keeping of financial transactions on their part However, it is likely that if [redacted] *** would review historical transactions from 11MAYthe payment from my husbands card will be listed I do find it rather odd that a receipt was not requested during the initial communication I initiated to resolve this, however, has been requested in light of the Revdex.com's intervention. In reply to the statement which conveys something to the effect of, 'Most [redacted] ***s would like to provide the product instead of a refund.' This I very much understand and I had utilized Messenger to make an appointment with Essential Therapeutic Massage for 1730@9MAY When I arrived at the business I learned that my Gift Certificate would not be honored as [redacted] was not there, rather another massage therapist who rents the bed occasionally in this bed parlor I drove miles round trip on a day I was not working only to walk away with no service rendered The Messenger account I would later come to find out is shared by two or more individuals who answer messages in no particular organizational fashion When I initially made my appointment the person replying to my message failed to inform me that multiple persons work out of this one room massage parlor. All of this information was made available to [redacted] as I personally witnessed the renter leave a voicemail on [redacted] ***s phone I was not contacted to reschedule nor contacted and offered an apology I felt that the Revdex.com would be a much more diplomatic resolution tool than utilizing the Monroe Count, WI Small Claims Court[redacted] Within the next business days I will upload and provide the financial statement which displays the payment to Essential Therapeutic Massage~ Thank you in advance for your time ~ Regards, Sarah [redacted]

Dear concerned client and Revdex.com representative, Thank you for your feedbackDo you have a receipt for your purchase? I failed to ask this at the time of our text exchangeWithout receipt it is not possible to know what was paid for the gift certificatesI do sometimes give discounts anywhere
from $off to half off. I will submit text exchange here for review by Revdex.com representative:Oct 11, client: Hi is this Tina?myself: Yes, who is this?client: gives nameclient: May I please request a refund for these gift certificates, as I don't think I will be able to schedule them in to my calendar prior to their expirationclient: sends picture of one hour massage gift certificatesmyself: They actually do not expireYou can use them at your earliest convenienceclient: AlrightWell, then since they do not expire as stated on the actual gift certificate I would actually still like to please request a refund for the full amount of both certificates as neither of them state they are NON-REFUNDABLEHow would we please be able to arrange this?myself: Sorry I cannot offer a refundIf you bring them into the office I am happy to exchange them for new certificates made out to whoever you'd likeclient: Sure, sureI understandIt strikes me as unethical & dishonest to not issue refunds to customers for services not provided when politely asked, however, you will have an opportunity to voice your reasons for not offering a refund in your reply to the Revdex.comHave a Great week!myself: I am happy to provide service paid for at your soonest convenienceFeel free to call or text anytimeThis concluded text exchange and was the full conversation between myself and client. I regret client's disappointment with my offersIf receipt is provided I will issue refund with return of gift certificates, though it is my strong preference that gift certificates be used for intended purposes, as is the case with most businesses, I'm sure. Gift certificates do not expireNotation to use within months was added by previous *** *** and not edited, as this often causes people to use certificates before they are lost or misplaced or forgotten. Thank you for contacting me with this issue
