I left four watch straps, I got three is return...two were mine and a used one which was someone else's.(never purchased myself) On 4/27/I dropped off a very expensive Panerai watch with four straps for consignment salemonths later I picked up the unsold watch with two expensive rubber (diver) straps missing and in place I received a used black leather one (not mine)Owner [redacted] was defensive and failed to honor replacing them even though I provided photos of what was left with himAlso left an expensive Cartier watch with him, he sold the watch at some point during the many months he held possession of themI was never notified the watch was soldWhen pressed why I was not informed he offered no explanationI did receive the agreed upon total for the sale of the Cartier Watch, but was left with an impression he used my money to float other watch purchases I have the photo to prove what was given and my text message exchange prior to my last contact date
Called the store and a nice lady answeredWe agreed on the price, forms where sent and payment information givenAfter several hours of zero contact I emailed again to find out the statusAfter waiting a while more, I received a call from the same lady saying that the watch they agreed to sell was somehow mysteriously part of a trade in and nixed my paymentNo attempt to make it right or even offer to find a similar watch....just a sorryWhat they did do is bumped up the price of the same watch the next day on their websiteThey went back on their deal and then lied to me....Great reputation!
