Review: The Essential Woman states on their internet site that they accept medicare payments in full for their products. At their store I purchased two mastsectomy bras and one prothesis. They billed me at the store for $49.00 and stated this would be filled by medicare. They did not give me any information that this amount was over and above any medicare coverage. I understand they are required to state that medicare will not cover this excess charge. I feel they are applying bait and switch techniques and not following the information they place on their internet. site.Desired Settlement: I desire a return of the $49.00 payment and believe it is imperitive they accept medicare as they advertise.

Please accept my apology for the late response--I really thought the e-mail was advertising--we get a lot of junk mail, and then I was in New York for a seminar so I am happy to see the letter I received this morning in the regular mail. In the ten and one half years this store has been in business, we have only had two customers complain about anything--unbelievable I know, but if you only knew what we do here and how many fragile people gain strength from their visit to our store you also would be amazed. We were long overdue in redoing our website--the information was accurate at one time and I take responsibility for not taking corrective action sooner.In the interest of resolution to this complaint, I will have our bookkeeper draft a check in the amount of $49.00 this afternoon.
