Review: Last year I had my transmission redone for $4346.48 and this year, two days BEFORE a FULL year was up, the transmission started slipping and SLAMMING into gear at wrong intervals. I returned it to the shop and they had it for 5 days and said it was the torque converter and that they would have to "essentially do the same thing" that they did last year and if they did it "by the book" it would run me around $500 but since I spent so much money on it they'd ONLY charge me $200 for labor if I brought them $200 in CASH. So I did and by the time I got it into my driveway, it was doing the EXACT SAME THING??!? So I brought it back the next day. It has been a month in total now and EVERY time I call, the guy says, "I don't know what going on with it, let me call you back." And then he does not call back, except for ONCE, in which I missed the call, but then I called back the next day and he gave me the same response. FINALLY, they did not answer so I left a message saying, my patience was GONE and they had my car for a month and I NEED it back or NEED to know what is going on with it. That was 6 days ago, and they have not called me.Desired Settlement: I'd like it to be fixed because it falls within the warranty of a fixed transmission and they are just stringing me along, not wanting to fix it as they SHOULD be obligated to.
