Review: On 2/6/16 my son took my 2011 Kia to get new tires. An employee forgot to tighten the lug nuts on the back diver's side tire. When my son pulled out on Rt 51, the tire flew off and crossed the highway and collided with another vehicle. My son was traumatized. My husband and I immediately went to the business and the manager told us they would take care of the damage. On 2/9/16 we had an estimate from C Harper Chevrolet Belle Vernon of $539.61. The other car had much more damage and we were informed that Essey would not turn in our claim to their insurance company but would write us a check, but not for a couple of weeks. We then scheduled our repair for Friday 3/11/16. On Monday, 3/7/16, my husband called the owner to remind him. After my husband dropped the car off he called again and couldn't reach the owner. We had to put the entire cost on our Discover card or we couldn't pick up our Kia. We called the owner on 3/20/16 and was then told he was turning it into his insurance company and got the run around about his agent quitting and trying to find his new agent, nonsense. He guaranteed my husband he would have the money by the end of March. We called again 3/31/16, 4/1/16, and 4/2/16 and couldn't reach the owner. I called the manager at the store on 4/2/16 and they took a message for the manager. On 4/6/16 I received a voicemail from "Mark" for State Insurance Co in Iowa. I called the number back 2 times that day and left voicemails. On 4/7/16 I called and spoke to another agent. I again explained everything to the agent and was told he would put the claim through. I asked the agent when they received our information and he told me that the claim was made on 2/9/16 and was reported that our car had no damage. They received the estimate of the repairs on our car on 4/4/16. We have not heard from the owner and are still waiting for our money.Desired Settlement: We want Essey to pay for the damage to our car that was caused by their negligence. We may have to contact a lawyer.

I was in touch with Mrs. [redacted] today and she has received a check from StateAuto in the amount of $539.61. Before calling her, I did some investigation of why the claimtook some time to process. The check from [redacted] was sent out on April 6,2016 andconsequently passed each other in the mail.A check was also sent to Mr. [redacted] on March 31, 2016 from [redacted] in the amount of$10,263.40 (the owner of the vehicle that was hit by the tire),Any questions, please give me a call.Essey Tire and V/heel Center[redacted]
