The complainant says that she did not release her information to the property or authorize the property to use her as a guarantor for her son's leaseHowever, all of our leasing is done electronicallyWe have an electronically verified signature from [redacted] on the lease guaranty agreementHer information was given to us via our online leasing portalThe person who digitally signed the document verified their identity as [redacted] ***Attached is a copy of the document with all personal information removed

All of our leasing is done online, therefore documents are all signed electronicallyGenerally, guarantors live out of town and therefore this is the most convenient method of having the necessary documents signed. We use a e-signature verification softwareDocuments signed electronically are as legally binding as if they were signed via pen and paper. The lease holder, *** ***, listed *** as a guarantorThe documents - including the lease agreement and guarantor agreement - were then signed online by both *** and ***, as all of our leasing documents are doneA copy of the signed guarantor agreement was attached to the previous responseIt included a digitally verified electronic signature.A few weeks later, *** contacted our office to say that he wanted to cancel his lease agreementWe explained to *** what his options were for cancelling, but he was not satisfied with the answer we gave him and became angry and hostileHe also came in to the office and spoke to our staff members in a very hostile mannerAfter this incident, *** called our office and informed management that she did not authorize the lease to be signedWe informed her of the digital signature and gave her instructions on how to view the signed document onlineOur staff did not instruct the complainant to "call Revdex.com." We were told that was what she was planning to do and said that unfortunately we could not terminate the contract, so if she felt that was a necessary step, then we would respond as needed. At this point because we have filled up on our 2xfloor plan and have a waiting list for fall move-ins, I would be willing to agree to terminate ***'s lease provided he pay the termination fee of $This is a fee of 85% of his base monthly rent and is outline in the lease agreement he signed.Since the lease agreement is between The Estates at San Antonio, and the primary leaseholder *** ***, *** will need to contact The Estates to resolve this matter

I am rejecting this response because:  As that company stated it was electronically done, there is no proof showing I physically signed anything or was aware of anything.  Did any one from that office speak to ME personally? No...because no one made the effort to contact me.  This company is obviously not a professional place.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I understand the processe of electronic documents, I use them at my job (county government) and we make sure to speak with someone before anything is processed.  It's common sense, especially with all the fraud that goes on.  I'm not interested in what [redacted] did, he is a 18 year old adult.  I am once again stating that I was NOT aware of him using me a guarantor and I did NOT give my permission!  Your office should have verified that.  From my understanding without me as a "guarantor" [redacted] would not be able to even lease from your company due to his lack of credit. He is not even a college student.I tried to call and work this out civilly and was responded to with disrespect and unprofessionalism.  I am again asking to release my name and information off the lease, I have no part of this. You already put an inquiry on my credit report, which I will also be contacting the credit bureaus.  This is [redacted]'s responsibility, you need to contact him and work this out.
Regards,
[redacted]
