Esternos Wood Fired Pizza Reviews (1)

Review: In March of 2014 we purchased Two promotional vouchers through [redacted] for $35 (each) value in the form of Two large pizzas (each). We have gone to this establishment dozens of times in the last 3 months and they are never open!!! they have posted hours and days off but are never there during those hours that we have been therre. The business does not answer the phone & their voicemail box is full. The phone for [redacted] is the same, never any answer and mailbox is full and no repsone after over a week from the email. This pizza place has taken my money. They are not available during their posted business hours to provide me with the service and product that they have already taken my money for.Desired Settlement: A written apology to the community for the business failure to honor their commitment to [redacted] customers. A full and complete refund for my loss of product.

Response:

I would like to start Esternos response by telling you that we are a small family owed, OUTDOOR concession trailer. We have a Facebook page ([redacted]) and it is our only real way of communicating with our customers and the public, although we also have an email address (Which is printed. I have not received an communications with this customer either through Facebook or email. As an OUTDOOR concession trailer, we are affected by the weather. When it is very windy (bad year for wind this year) we have to close, when it is very cold, or very hot (Also an unheard of number of consecutive triple digit days here) we also have to close. When we have a death in the family Which we had, and when an employee gets sick and he has, or someone in their family dies and she did, we also have to close. On top of all these hardships we also lost our commissary. Finding a new one has been a challenge! We are now waiting for paperwork to move to a new location at [redacted] In spite of all this we have made every effort to be open as much as possible and have kept everyone informed on Facebook. We have let everyone know that we have extended the expiration date on these vouchers to Aug 31st. The phone #[redacted] to which Mr./Mrs. [redacted] refers, is a call in order number ONLY, and is stated as such on the message when called. It is unfortunate that this customer has not been able to make contact with us. The [redacted] vouchers were sold for 17.50 each (a 35.00 value) and ea customer was allowed to buy only 2. That would be a total of $35.00 if two vouchers were bought. While the value would be $70.00, the money that this customer paid, should not have exceeded $35.00. We value our customers satisfaction and are making every effort to make sure they are able to use their coupons. I don't have a date for our move to [redacted] until the City of Richland completes its paperwork. They have okayed the spot but want a site plan and a review. We look foreword to getting reopened (We have been closed for over a week now) and will Honor ALL Vouchers beyond their expiration dates.

Thank You for hearing the other side of this complaint.

Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The business has done nothing but provide you, Revdex.com with a beleivable list of obsticles they have supposedly entcountered that excuse them from theri obligation to [redacted] and its customers. It has been hot(3 digit) here during the 2nd & 3rd weeks of july and for the record the Columbia Basin where we are located is infamous for its windy conditions, we don't have twisers, we don't have hurricanes we have wind. The business using the weather as an excuse for being closed during posted business hours is an empty reason, and/or just very poor business management, if they can't handle making pizza in the wind maybe they should move somewhere that is not known for wind! Duh! We made special trips to the business location multiple times over several months and they were always closed in spite of the posted business hours and no explanation was posted at the busness. [redacted] has stepped up and offered a full refund, it is a sorry situation that the busness is hiding behind this third party and refuse to take any responiblity.

Regards,
