Review: I have been shopping for my wedding dress at esti's. Due to my tight schedule and short time window for dress alteration, I needed the dress to arrive by May [redacted] in order for my seamstress to finish the alteration before June [redacted], the day before my wedding. I agreed to place a deposit of $2500 only when Esti's agreed that the dress will arrive on or before the [redacted] of May.However, the dress didn't arrive on [redacted] (Friday) as promised. I called 3 times on May ** and left messages but did not receive any calls in return. I called again on Sunday but again was not able to receive any calls back. When the dress from Esti's finally arrived in their store on the [redacted] (Wed), Ive already purchased and sent my backup dress for alteration. I then asked Esti's to refund my deposit but they refused. In summary, Esti's breached a mutual contract by failing to deliver the merchandise on time (a time-sensitive purchase) and subsequently refusing to refund the $2500 deposit.Desired Settlement: Refund of the $2500 deposit to my American Express card ASAP.

Regarding the customer's claim that she called several times and got no response, we show no record of any such call. Had she notified us that she did not want the dress three day later, we could have cancelled it. As the gown ordered comes from London, it is difficult to manage the overseas shipment

and customs clearance to the exact day. A three day delay is to be expected, and is generally acceptable. At no time, did this client indicate that the gown would not be acceptable only three days

later.
