Review: A person called me on 8/27/13 and said they were with Microsoft Tech Service. Their records indicated a serious problem with my computer. This computer is a desktop and not the one I am communicating with you on now. I let them into this computer (stupidly) and they said there were serious malware problems that could cause the computer and harddrive to crash at any time. I signed up via credit card for a service contract. They supposedly worked on this computer online several times and said everything was fixed and okay. The service contract was billed to the company that is the subject of this complaint. The computer did not work properly. I talked with more representatives and they said they were not actually Microsoft employees. They did say they worked for E Tech Pro Net, however. The computer in question is not working properly and I am leaving it shut off for the most part. I have notified my credit card company and they will take a dispute call once the charge is posted. The representation that they were Microsoft Tech Service was fraudulent and the work done, if any, did not fix the problems with this computer.Desired Settlement: I would like the charge removed completely from my credit card.
