Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Thank you for the reply Fortunately, ORS does not require all of the adult children to agree on cremation In fact, there must be conflicting reasons to reject cremation in ORS 96.145, or the funeral home can be subject to liability We have met all conditions of ORS and they still refuse to cremate Eternal hill failed in its obligation under Oregon Codes to inform Cordy that a consent form may be needed as listed in This material omission caused the dispute we are having now Had they performed their obligations under these sections, the intent would have never been in question The failure on Eternal hills is causing great pain and suffering by my family The prospect of having my kids memory of Grandma being frozen for the next days while the attorneys sort this out is unbearable Eternal hills failed in their duty to inform as ORS states Sincerely, [redacted]

Thank you for the reply. Fortunately, ORS 97.130 does not require all of the adult children to agree on cremation. In fact, there must be 2 conflicting reasons to reject cremation in ORS 96.145, or the funeral home can be subject to liability. We have met all conditions of ORS 97.130 and they still refuse to cremate. Eternal hill failed in its obligation under Oregon Codes to inform Cordy that a consent form may be needed as listed in 97.130. This material omission caused the dispute we are having now. Had they performed their obligations under these sections, the intent would have never been in question. The failure on Eternal hills is causing great pain and suffering by my family. The prospect of having my kids memory of Grandma being frozen for the next 45 days while the attorneys sort this out is unbearable. Eternal hills failed in their duty to inform as ORS states. Sincerely,[redacted]
