Eternity Homes completed all agreed upon repairs to standard building codes implemented during We started a day warranty item list on 1/7/13, and we have continued to work with the homeowner for years, which is years past the warranty periodWe have completed multiple site meetings, and lists were generated with agreed upon repairsEvery time a list was generated the homeowner would the list adding unauthorized repair itemsAll sub-contractors that have completed repairs at his home are not willing to return due to the way they were treated by the homeowner during repair completionsThe homeowner was also notorious for approving the repair to the contractor onsite, but then contact our office after the contractor leaves to complain about their completed workThis would cause multiple trips to complete simple repairs, instead of the homeowner voicing his true concerns during the initial repair visit
During the final meeting on 8/16/15, the homeowner and the builder agreed upon items to be completedThe homeowner stated that if these repairs were completed that he would sign off and be satisfiedThe homeowner has not held up to this agreementOur record show that all agreed upon items are completed, and the homeowner signed off on all but the front door window issueOur window sub-contractor completed this repair on 11/3/We have requested that the homeowner sign off on this repair, but we have not received a responseWe consider all final items as completed, and his file closed

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/10/09) */
Eternity Homes met with [redacted] 10/8/15 to discuss the issues. Below are responses to each item listed on the Revdex.com claim letter:
1) Tub Damage: No tub issues were brought to our attention until 10/2/15. The tile repair was completed 8...

months prior on 2/18/15. Homeowner expressed during meeting on 10/8/15 that there is no repair required, and that she just wanted to make us aware of this issue.
2) Concrete Issues: No concrete issues were brought to our attention until 10/2/15. Concrete sidewalk at stoop has a standard hairline settling crack which does not affect the structure of the sidewalk. The driveway concrete near road is standard wear and tear. Homeowner was notified, and agreed that the concrete does not require repairs.
3) Driveway Settling: Eternity Homes instructed buyer, during her 1 year walk through in January this year, that we would complete the driveway repair in the fall. It is now October. The asphalt company has been notified of repair, and will contact the buyer to coordinate repair schedule.
4) Exterior Water Faucets: This issue was not brought to our attention until 10/2/15. Eternity Homes will tighten screws securing the exterior water faucets. Repair ticket produced 10/9/15. Repair to be completed 10/9/15.
5) Siding Issue: No siding issues were brought to our attention until 10/2/15. During site visit completed on 10/9/15 there were no visible siding issues. An email request has been sent to homeowner requesting photos and more information as to what the issue is so we can complete the required repair if needed.
6) Warped Window Trim: No window trim issues were brought to our attention until 10/2/15. Homeowners' humidity levels are very high inside the home causing moisture build up which warped the living room window sill trim. Eternity Homes will replace the warped trim piece. We have instructed the homeowner to purchase a de-humidifier and place in home to help decrease the moisture level in the area on concern.
7) Landscaping: Landscaping was the homeowners responsibility according to closing documents. Eternity Homes supplied sod and dirt October 2013, for them to complete their landscaping according to city requirements. The homeowners partially completed their landscaping, and left 2 pallets of sod on road throughout the winter to go to waste. We have contacted them on multiple occasions to complete correctly, but no response or attempts were made. Eternity Homes has made multiple trips to their home to complete their landscaping mistakes, so we can get city approval for escrow release. Homeowners still owe Eternity Homes $2000 for the landscape escrow, which has yet to be release due to the failing turf inspections. At this time all corrections are completed, and we are waiting on the city to complete their turf inspection to sign off this yard for escrow release.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/10/14) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
2. The concrete issues were brought the attention of Eternity Homes prior to the complaint, however I received no response on them. In addition, the divots in the driveway have been there for over a year, but after discussing with a concrete professional I have been told that is not "normal wear and tear" after that short of a period.
3. I was initially told to asphalt of the driveway would be completed in the spring and received a phone call in April/ May to schedule it, but no follow up from Eternity. As I tried to follow up, I kept being told they would call me in a week until finally they said the repairs would be made in the fall. When I did not hear anything yet again for several months, I emailed again, but did not receive their response because of an apparent email issue on their end they are aware of.
5.I did not receive a follow up email in regards to the siding.
7. I was told by an employee at Eternity that they would remove the silt fencing and then I had agreed to finish the landscaping. When it was not done, I removed it myself and seeded, and then was told that was not acceptable. I did respond to them and make attempts to correct the situation. When Eternity receives the escrow money back from the city their net investment in my landscaping is $0, and I wrote a check for $2k upon closing, so I was not ":gifted" or "supplied" with free supplies.
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2015/10/23) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I am approving this case, not because I am satisfied with Eternity Homes or that they have done any repairs, but because dealing with them is simply a waste of my time.
The only repair that I have been contacted about is the asphalt in the driveway being replaced. I do intend to reopen the case if nothing else is done in regards to the repairs they outlined in this case within the next 60 days.
My response to them:
2. I closed on my house 10/31/13. I agreed that the crack in my walkway was due to the house settling, I did not agree that the driveway was from wear and tear.
3. I was not notified that repairs on my driveway were going to be done in the fall until after the assessment was done in the spring; not at my 1 year walk through. And I had to call and email multiple times before someone even came out to look at it. In addition, I was told on more than one occasion they were going to call me to schedule the repairs in the spring, so once again, I received conflicting information.
5. I received the email in regards to the siding, which I never had an issue with, it was the shakes. I am not pursuing any repairs on this.
7. Eternity Homes never removed the silt fencing in my yard, that was done by myself and another individual. Over a year after that, Eternity sodded, with dead sod, along the boulevard of my yard.
I don't know why Eternity Homes was contacted rather than me, the homeowner, in regards to the curb stop. I was notified of it after my yard was dug into. I do not agree that the damage was done when my dirt was spread around the yard, as that part of the yard was beyond the silt fencing, so there was no landscaping done by me there. Of course, since I am the homeowner, Eternity is quick to place blame.
It is beyond my comprehension why they think I would allow them to do this repair. They no longer own this property and I am in the process of selecting someone on my own who will repair the curb stop and not charge me $500 to wheelbarrow dirt from the street to the boulevard. I also find it amusing that this is an emergency considering the fact that if they believe the damage was done when I laid sod, this was done 2 years ago.
"...ending result is always Eternity Homes having to complete the repairs just to get the issues resolved." Is a false statement as laying the sod was agreed upon in my 1 year walk through and this was the ONLY repaid they did to "resolve" any issues.
I plan on encouraging my neighbors who have expressed their frustrations with Eternity to file complaints as well. I have never dealt with people who care so little about their customers and blatantly lie about the work they have done.

Eternity Homes Revdex.com Response Letter #2
2. The concrete approach where the driveway meets the road was in new condition when the homeowner closed on 3/21/2013. The homeowner was notified during a site visit and agreed with the builder that the current condition of the approach is normal wear and tear due to vehicle traffic, plowing, and road salt.
3. Eternity Homes notified the homeowner during her 1 year walk through that the driveway would be assessed for repair in the spring. During the assessment she and the builder agreed to wait to complete the driveway repair until fall to ensure there is no additional settling. Our office has been notified by the asphalt company that they are in contact with the homeowner to coordinate the repair schedule.
5. The homeowner notified our office recently regarding her updated email address. The email requesting more information on the siding issue was sent to her old email by mistake on 10/11/15, and resent to her correct email 10/19/15. We are waiting for her response, so we can accurately identify and resolve this issue.
7. The homeowner was instructed the she would be responsible for silt fencing removal during her landscaping completion. She stated she was unable to remove the fencing, so we offered to remove it when we completed the landscaping on the neighboring lot. At this time we also sodded the areas of her yard that were incomplete. Many attempts have been made to have the landscaping completed correctly, but the ending result is always Eternity Homes having to complete the repairs just to get the issues resolved. The homeowner did write a check for the $2000 escrow held by the city, but Eternity Homes paid $2000 to cover the cost of the sod and dirt. The homeowner still owes Eternity Homes the $2000 for the cost of the sod and dirt that we supplied, so she was able to complete her landscaping prior to the birth of her child. On 10/16/15, Eternity Homes emailed the homeowner notifying her that the curb stop was ripped out of the ground during the spreading of the black dirt which was completed by an outside source hired by the homeowner. The homeowner is responsible for the repair of the curb stop, and fees to repair any damage caused to the yard during the completion of this repair. In total she owes Eternity Homes $4000. The city will not sign off and release the escrow amount held until this repair is completed. The homeowner contacted Eternity Homes by phone on 10/16/15 after receiving this email, and she said she would respond regarding how she will cover the costs of the repair. Eternity Homes has not received any contact from her since that phone call. This is considered an emergency type repair, and is not recommended to be postponed until spring 2016.

Eternity Homes and multiple subcontractors have met with the homeowner on many occasions to resolve his items of concern with his home. All items agreed upon from all meetings have been signed off as completed by the homeowner. The most recent and final meeting occurred on 8/12/15. The homeowner...

and builder agreed on repairs to be completed, and homeowner stated that once completed he would be satisfied. According to our files as of 11/03/15 all repairs noted from that meeting are completed. His home was built in 2012, and passed all city inspections. The home is built to all city codes implemented in 2012, and meets if not exceeds all industry standards.
