Review: I bought this baby for dog Aspen when she was having suregry (she loves her babies) It is called Plush Chirpies sold by Spot Ethical Products, Inc.

Aspen really plays with her babies and will swing them around and take them inside and outside.. I bought this because he was cute and made a Chirp.

Yesterday, she was swinging him around and this mesh bag flew out of the toys across the room. I have attached what came out of it, this could of killer her if she had digested this .. I called the Safeway store and they went and pulled them down and come to find out all of these contents were a voice box put in the toy, I could not tell becasue she played so much with it, it was totally crushed.

I can not believe they would put this type of device in a dog toy..

It contain 3 watch batteries, voice chip the size of a nickle, spings and the box is made out of plastic and put in a mesh bag.

I went to the website to see what it said about having this in the toy and this is all they say, if I knew this box and all of the contents were in this toy, I would of never never bought this for my girl...Desired Settlement: Would like them to list all of the contents in the dog toy and could be life threating and not in fine print....

The dog toy in question is clearly marked "Caution: To ensure the safety of your pet, supervise your pet at all times during play. Do not allow your pet to play with this toy if any part of this toy comes loose or separated. This toy is intended to be used only with supervision." I have reviewed this complaint with numerous departments and we have decided going forward to include in the warning that this toy contains batteries. If the consumer would like to contact me I will be happy to refund his purchase price of the toy.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, they need to make sure it's not fine fine print...I have attched what can happen..

Review: "SPOT Play Strong" Rubber dog Toy purchased 12/23/2014 as a holiday gift for my dog. I paid $11.99 plus tax at "Friends of Nature" Pet Supply Store in [redacted]. Packaging states "100% Lifetime Guarantee". "Visit [redacted] for full details." My dog played with/chewed the toy on Christmas morning under full supervision for a period of less than 20 minutes. In that time, he bit several large pieces off of the toy, and I took it away from him. The item is clearly not "virtually indestructible", " nor is it "perfect for aggressive chewers" as promised on the package.

I went to the website as directed to file a claim on the product guarantee. I could not find any details whatsoever about how to file a customer satisfaction claim. I eventually submitted my complaint of the "Contact Us" page as a general inquiry. http://www.ethicalpet.com/contact/ My complaint was not acknowledged; nor has it been responded to or satisfied in any way. I did not try to contact the company by phone,Desired Settlement: I want my money back. The product performed much more poorly than promised.

Review: I bought "Spot Zap Ball Flash N Sound" Toy for my dog, and it's broken as soon as I open the package, return to store, and again it happens, Now I got one that works finally but first day of playing with it, it broke in half as I threw it for my dog to catch it, my dog got a little shocked from it and I saw the sparks, my dog got a little burn mark on his mouth. I brought to the store and they can't take it since it's broken.Desired Settlement: I either want a replacement or refund of $6.99. and the emotional issue my dog went through by getting shocked.

Ethical Products is sorry for the issue this consumer had with our ball. This ball has been in our line for many years and we have never had a complaint of this nature. We take consumer feedback very seriously and this information will be passed to quality control. I do wish the consumer would have contacted us directly so we could have had the opportunity to resolved the complaint to the consumer's satisfaction.

I am rejecting this response because:

I did call the company and kept getting the run arounds. I've used these Balls for yrs as well, and when that indistinct happen, I was very upset as my dog is very important to me. I brought it back to the store many times and they only had 3 of them left none worked. They even said they tried call your company and nothing was done. So this why I contacted Revdex.com. so I could get some answers etc.

I received the reply from Ms. [redacted]. I am sorry she felt she was getting the run around. We speak to retailers and end users every day. We have procedures and logs in place. I cannot find Ms. [redacted]'s call or any retailer calling regarding this ball. It would be very helpful if I could get the name of the person that Ms. [redacted] spoke to so I can take appropiate action to be sure we are supplying the best customer service available. Thank You
