We bought tickets for the New Years event at the Gillioz theatre in Springfield very early We sere supposed to get seats close to the band as my brother is hard of hearing They gave us tickets in the balcony while there were still open seats on the main floor This had to be deliberate Also the balcony at the Gilloiz is all child seats, an average (5'9") man can't sit in them comfortably It was terrible

I have dealt with Etix by phone to renew season tickets for the past years; each time-rudest people I have ever done business with by phonePoor attitudes, never "thank me" for my business, not helpful in any wayEven when I am being extremely nice, they still ooze bad attitudesThey seriously need some customer service training

Incredibly unethical companyAvoid buying tickets from them at all costs

Bought tickets for the Indiana State Fair. Price online with Etix was supposedly lower than what you would pay at the Fair. Got to the Fair, and the regular price at the Fair was lower than online. Fortunately, the Fair was cool with this, and had cash money for us ready at hand as a refund. Great. Etix charged a service fee, for all 8 of our tickets, amounting to $12. Emailed them, and they would not refund it. COMPLETE lack of customer service. -10 stars.

I was recently using this website, etix.com to purchase tickets for a Mumford and Sons Concert in Chicago, this June 17th. When I went on the Mumford and Sons website to purchase tickets, it immediately brought me to etix.com.

I waited online in a "virtual queue" for almost 45 minutes to get these tickets. The first page it took me to asked me for my shipping address so I filled everything out correctly. The next page asked for all of my billing information along with my billing address, but it had automatically filled in my zip code from the shipping address, and would not let me change it. I had no choice but to keep going, and hoped that they would contact me if they had any issues with the billing address, as they had all of my contact information (and other websites have reached out to me this in the past if there were any billing issues).

However, I had no problems the money was taken out of my bank account, AND I received a confirmation e-mail right after purchase.

This morning I received an e-mail saying that I was receiving a full refund for my "order cancellation". I e-mailed customer service asking why I was getting a refund, and received the following e-mail:

"Your tickets have been canceled. This is because of an invalid address. When you purchased these tickets you put in [CITY/STATE] but the zip code is for [CITY/STATE]. Because the Terms & Conditions state that you need to have a valid billing address, your tickets were canceled and your money has been refunded. Since the show is currently sold out they cannot be repurchased."

Kind of odd that it said [CITY/STATE] like that and didn't have MY information entered... maybe a mass e-mail that they were sending out to many people (they probably created this whole thing as a precaution in case they oversold tickets). I went on Yelp to write a review and saw that the exact same thing happened to another girl for the same concert. I cannot believe what a scam it was!

I have dealt with Etix by phone to renew season tickets for the past 4 years; each time-rudest people I have ever done business with by phone. Poor attitudes, never "thank me" for my business, not helpful in any way. Even when I am being extremely nice, they still ooze bad attitudes. They seriously need some customer service training.
