Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Eyetex didn't tell me that they were making new lenses, all they were supposed to do was put my Lenscrafters lenses into the new frames I had just bought from EyetexThey said that my Lenscrafters lenses wouldn't fit their frames, so they decided to throw them away and make new lenses to fit the frames and substitute them without telling meThere was no "courtesy" involved! I paid for those Lenscrafters lenses and never gave Eyetex permission to dispose of them and substitute their ownThey thought I would never find out what they did! Regards, [redacted] ***

We filled the patients RX according to our records of the last recorded exam If the patient has an outside RX from another Drit was not presented to us We put a set of lenses in his new frame at no charge as a courtesy since his old lenses did not fit into his new frame He needs to provide us a copy of a receipt from Lenscrafters

As the patient mentioned earlier; the lenses in his old frame did not fit into his new frameHowever; rather than telling the patient that they would not fit into the frame; as a courtesy and at our own costs; made a new set of lenses for him( U&C $139) Protocol is that we return the patient's old lenses to them unless they do not want themHowever; that was not the case and they were disposed ofAgain, we ( and in error ) assumed the patient would be appreciative of this effort; instead he thinks we did something underhanded and behind his back and wants his old lenses from Lenscrafters; which we have no problem with, upon receiving a receipt from Mr *** Communication is very important to us and we try at all costs to keep in communication with our patients; however, we fell short of this with Mr [redacted] somewhere along the wayIf we can just be provided the receipt from Lenscrafters; we are able to move forward.Thank you,
