Mr *** scheduled to have a lift and trencher delivered to his site on Friday evening for a Saturday morning start timeMy staff made a mistake and overlooked the
deliveryAt 10:pm on Friday night Mr *** called and left a message on the emergency service line stating that he had not received the equipmentIn his message he stated that he had people showing up at 6:00am to start on the projectI contacted a staff member and he came in at 5:am, loaded up and was on the job site at 6:am Saturday morningNeedless to say there was not a soul in site and Mr *** did not answer his phone nor his door when knocked on several timesAt 6:am there were still no bodies on siteThis was the first untruth that Mr *** toldHe says that he had trouble with the lift that was rented, yet he never once called nor left a message that he was having an issueI know that it was not because he was unaware of the service line because he had used it at 10:pm the night before to inform us of the deliveryIn our contract, which he signed, it clearly states that if you have an issue you must call within minutes so that we can send a service technician out to take care of the issueMr *** states that there was a problem with the trencherWhen my delivery driver picked up the machines on Monday, Mr *** indicted that the only issue he had was with the lift and that he had no issues with the trencherThe trench he needed to dig was completeUpon reviewing the rental ticket for Mr ***, I see that the full rental and delivery for the weekend would have been $He was discounted $for the issues he claims to have hadThe equipment was in fact on his job site by 6:am Saturday morning so there was no lost time thereThe trencher must have worked or he would not have completed the trench and would not have told the driver that the trencher worked fineHe also said nothing about the trencher having an issue when he came in to settle his billHe did not bother to contact us about any issues with the equipment for the entire weekend, however, *** gave a courtesy discount for good measureI do not feel the Mr *** is due any further discount or refund
Furthermore, Mr *** went on Google reviews and downgraded my Staff member, ***, calling him names and insulting not only him but my other staff members in generalI believe Mr *** is simply trying to get something for nothing and he will not get it here
