According to our records , on April21, 2017, Mr . [redacted] applied and was approved for a $500.00 loan at our retail store located at [redacted] . [redacted]., in CasaGrande, Arizona. Mr. [redacted] did not return to the store to pay in cash by the close ofbusiness on his due date of May 19, 2017. Accordingly , the loan payment was submitted electronically through his bank as authorized in the loan agreement. Mr. [redacted] returned to the store on May 20, 2017 and made a cash payment for the loan while the electronically sub­ mitted payment was still pending . Customers may go ahead and make the cash payment because they believe the electronic payment will return insufficient. When Mr . [redacted] 's electronic payment cleared he was reimbursed the amount on May 24, 2017. Please note that Mr . [redacted] wages were never garnished by Money Mart as stated in his complaint.Despite the clear terms in the loan agreement explaining that the payment would be submitted electronically if not made in cash by the due date, Mr . [redacted] was apparently unaware of the pending electronic payment . Since it is unclear if the store employee explained that the electronic payment had already been submitted, we are reimbursing Mr. [redacted] overdraft fees totaling $68.00 charged to him by his own depository institution . We are mailing him a check to the address provided on the Revdex.com complaint letter ([redacted]., in CasaGrande , Arizona) .We apologize for any inconvenience this matter has caused Mr. [redacted] , and we thank him for being a valued customer of Money Mart.
