I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint This is crazy! You act as if I was not present. I know how you and you shop made me feel. You can not speak to my feelingsThere was others there. I will have them send in their point of view of the situation as well

Still Angry-Former Customer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The brakes that were installed were bought from [redacted] and were not [redacted] brakes. The work that she had done was warranty work, which we honored and took care of her. Ms. [redacted] was not the only customer being worked on and not all parts coming in were for her vehicle. Our establishment...

is run ethically and we do not deceive our customers. Nothing was done wrong. We are sorry if Ms. [redacted] feels like she was mistreated, but there was nothing done wrong to her.

In a few days, an error code can show up that was not there two days before that. The car could have been driven and had the issue come up then. Regardless, Eurocare cannot be held responsible for error codes that had not shown up yet unless it did a complete tear down of the car. The only thing that we can do is look at the components and see if anything looks off and then check for diagnostic codes. We cannot be held responsible for what happens to the vehicle beyond that. We are sorry the customer is dealing with issues after they purchased the vehicle, but we are not at fault here.

We are not trying to imply that Ms. [redacted] was not involved in the transaction. Simply that there was no mistreatment of her. We honored our warranty, did the work and put the proper parts on her vehicle. She was explained and shown the process. We have apologized if Ms. [redacted] feels that she has been mistreated. Beyond that, there is nothing that needs to be done.

We are in the process of contacting the customer to try to work out a resolution. We will update the case once we have gotten a return call and have discussed with customer.

In concern with this vehicle, 2004 Volvo, we did pre-buyers
inspection.  ...

We had no present codes in
the computer for diagnosis codes which we showed Mr. [redacted].  No fluid leaks, but we had a vibration when
driving and we took Mr. [redacted] and daughter for a ride than racked the vehicle
for a second time and found bad tie rod ends.  At that time, he decided to
talk to seller on the price and told me he would bring it back to fix with us
for $450.00.  When he brought the vehicle back, there was a check engine
light and had a vacuum leak.  We fixed
that and the tie rod ends all above by Mr. [redacted], but when test driving
vehicle there was a low speed vibration.
The vehicle is equipped with electronic rack and pinion that was binding
and the technician recommended replacement of rack and pinion. What is sounds
like to me is before the seller sold the car he cleared codes or disconnected
battery to hide the check engine light until sold as far as rack & pinion
that was something no one would know prior to repair.   I
talked to Mr. [redacted] he told me his wife was going to complain and he should have
gotten a better price. The car is 100% fixed; no complaints for that.   I just
fixed it with total communication with customer and was advised every step.

Sg business said they fixed the check engine light. All they did was reset it and charge me 1200 dollars. The lught came back on the next day, and all they did was change a hose, change the oil, and spark plugs. Horrible business.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]There was maybe a few days between when we got estimate from eurocare and bought the car after their statement as to what was wrong with the Volvo.  I am so surprised that Eurocare is blaming the seller on this particular issue.  What could the Seller have done to cover up what Eurocare did not tell us about?  Please advise how that could have happened?
