We did install a new fuel pump after leaving a message on *** phone,
assuming *** who we value as a customer would want the car repairedWe did try to find a used fuel pump and was told that there were none available locallyWhen I was talking to *** on *** after the repair was made she was surprised at the cost but only said she would be in by the end of the week to get her car, not indicating she was upsetIf she was, we would have removed the pump at that time
When *** came to get her car she indicated she was not happy and I offered her removal of the pump and to only charge her for two hours of diagnostic time *** not the *** stated in the complaintThere was a very civil discussion, witnessed by two other customers about what she was going to do with her car then and she indicated she could possibly source a pump from *** I told her that would be fine and that she would only ever pay the two hours of diagnostic(***) time and the time to install the pump that she would supplyThe offer of removal of the new pump and installing a pump she supplies still stands and as I offered on ***This whole discussion happened before the bill was ever paid

Our offer of installing a pump supplied by *** still stands but there is no warranty on a customer supplied partThere will be no more labour charged as was offered before and she will be reimbursed the *** dollars for the new pump we installed or she can bring the car backWe will remove the pump, reimburse the whole bill in full and she can have the car towedShe would be responsible for the tow and anything after
