To whom it may concern : Regarding this complaint, we will like to inform you that our store policy which is printed on the sale receipt and display at the point of sale, is MERCHANDISE CREDIT ONLY. No refunds. Exchangeswithin days. When this
customer came to the store and bought a pair of sandals that were her size, she was informed that she could exchange them for a larger size if she thought that it was necessary. When she came back to the store, more than days after purchase, we offer her the opportunity to get a larger size which was going to be ordered for her. She refused and demanded her money backAt the end, a store credit was issued to her in the amount of $134.00. That same day, she called back and wanted to order the larger size ( size 42) . Once again she asked that if she was not happy, if she could return them and get her money back. She was informed again that she will get, according to our store policy, a store credit . Thank you

When I purchased the sandals I asked if I could return them and was never told that it would be for store credit only.I would not have purchased them if this was the case. I have an unusual size foot and always need to try on shoes before I purchase them. Therefore ordering a size larger might not work for me. In fact, I ordered a size larger on line and they did not fit.I returned the sandals within 10 days which seemed like a reasonable amount of time.At no time was I informed that returns had to be within 7 days. The return policy was not printed in view anywhere in the store and I was not given information about the return policy.I have never heard of a store with expensive items – or any store - with such a rigid return policy, especially when they do not inform their customers of the policy.
