Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:We have already paid for the scrapIt was part of the slabs we paid for ourselvesThe $balance was agreed to be withheld until the finished embellishment pieces were delivered.Contrary to ***'s assertion I did indeed want the pieces made which he had agreed to deliver, and I have now had them made, as I expect European Stoneworks to fail to ever deliver themThey clearly operate from crisis to crisis and I'm guessing they have other crisis too to deal with worth more to them than our $balance Therefore I have had the pieces made (photos attached) using the sample piece that my wife brought home when she was shopping for stoneShe WAS wanting to save it for a trivet. If I had only wanted a discount why would I keep bothering [redacted] about the pieces after our meeting? It was agreed the $was to be paid when the embellishments were delivered - and they never wereThe "discounts" he mentions were made at two points: 1) $was given by [redacted] (the owner) after he promised the crew would show up at 10am or he'd take $off our bill (and they didn't show up 'til about 7:30pm), and 2) $was agreed upon as compensation to pay for repairing damage to our walls during the installation...I would not call that a "discount".I think I have been much more than patient and given European Stonework much more than a fair chance to keep their word before filing my complaint.Summarizing the complete email thread provided earlier:.......6/15/[redacted] followed up with me regarding our meeting on 6/13, at which we agreed they would provide the small embellishment pieces to finish the job, and $would be withheld until deliveryIn the mail [redacted] stated the he would follow up again on the 16th.6/24/(nine days later)I send an inquiry requesting an update.7/17/(days later - after my Mom had called [redacted] to complain) [redacted] writes with excuses, and promises the pieces will be made by Wednesday, 7/22.I reply offering to give him until the 25th instead, but asking for the scrap with which to make the pieces if the pieces cannot be delivered by then.......My correspondence with Revdex.com was intended to provide a warning for other consumersEuropean Stonework's craftsmanship is not bad at allTheir customer service, however, is atrociousThe administration of our installation was pathetic, and the minor unsatisfactory detail described would've been remedied without a thought by most any other companyWith European Stonework it is just another example of the utter disrespect with which we were treated - and I doubt we were some kind of rare exception.Sincerely, [redacted]

This project was a month out to begin with from the date of sale
The material was not even gonna be ready to ship from Dalton, GA until 1st week of July if Kraus USA Truck is full and ready
to shipWhich it arrived over the passes and to Kent, WA on the week of July 22nd,
We we're
gonna deliver the wood and had it scheduled and thank God we didn't because her water line leaked and was
faulty behind her Dishwasher
Thus, all Kraus Acacia Moselle 3/4" x 3/4" x RL H-S at 22sf per carton
I brought in a $6,moisture meter to suck out all moisture from subfloor
*** kept wanting a schedule of when she can move inWell, I kept telling her if flooring was here on-time it would be ruined with
water and way too high of moisture
Anyway's after hours of house being sealed and even in the mornings at 8am the house was 84deg and drying out quickly
we had huge commercial fans in their as well along with ceiling fans etcThe 3rd day we came after 5pm and moisture tested the subfloor and the cabinetry
we also, fixed a cabinet panel with solid maple not particle board like she had exisitng
All I know Is I through in Tear-Out of $1,at NO Charge with Haul-Away and disposalAnd moisture testing and using the machnes and inspecting
the floors is another $for all dehumidify and machines and $to have it moisture tested and inspected
so a grand totatl of NO Charge Discounts Plus Panel of $+ $2,= $4,in discounts as it is.
we have went out of our way many times and talk with them like to times a daywhich is a little too much
We can only work around her schedule and use her key and when she is there and that isn't how we do business
with all of this and the discount on the material etc she has already saved over $4,
and has not even paid what the Hardwood cost to begin with
which is $8,
plus half labor $1,
total deposit $10,
then balance after completeion $1,upon completeion
Thank You,

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
My original complaint of not receiving the wood flooring has not been addressed and needs to be answered. There have been many promises with no call, no shows, no contact from European Stoneworks owner and/or operations manager.
The following is the saga of promised wood flooring deliveries by date and is documented by texts from owner and operations manager. It has been condensed so as not to bore others with their excuses. As of today I still do not have the rest of wood flooring, but I do have another promise of delivery next week.
July 1 2016,Fri- tear out not started as stated in contract "Job needs to start July 1st for Tear out and installation ASAP after that."
July 13,Wed- European Stonework's had two workers start tearing out existing flooring, they stacked the torn out floors in the rooms, hallways, and blocking the front door which is a safety hazard. This caused a delay of 9 days when no work could be accomplished.
July 22,Fri- they returned and removed the torn out flooring from the house and hauled it away. However tear out was not complete. I have pictures of the wood stacked all over rooms and hallways. The flooring on this date is sitting in the warehouse ready for European Stoneworks to pick up.
July 23,Sat- they came back to finish removing flooring which included moving the kitchen appliances, and unhooking the water line from the dishwasher.  They were doing this on a Saturday night and left soon after disconnecting and turning off the water.
July 25,Mon- They were to return to complete tear out, but as usual they were a no call, no show.
July 28,Thur- I went back to the house to get mail, etc. only to find the water shut off was leaking and had flooded the living room, dining room, master bedroom, and partially into the hallways. I have pictures of all the flooding, condensation and humidity inside the house. They were texted with this information and they thought I was kidding. When they found I was not kidding they did bring in fans and a large dehydrator. I have heard it is "sound contractor practice" after turning off a water value to wait at least 2 hours to confirm valve is not leaking. As contractors it was their responsibility to check the valves prior to leaving work site. They left approximately 1/2 hour after turning off valve.
August 3,Wed- the floors were moisture tested and found to be at normal levels and ok to install the floors.
August 10,Wed- European Stoneworks delivered 1/3 of the flooring, promising the next 2/3 on Friday and Monday. They did not deliver it as promised.
August 11,Thur- I asked "will the flooring be delivered tomorrow" and operations manager said "I have it released already, so there won't be any problem"
August 12,Fri- I asked "What time will it be delivered". Response was they were there waiting at suppliers, but at 7:30pm I was told they are not coming
Aug 15, 16, 17,Mon,Tues,Wed- I asked about flooring delivery, but received no response.
Aug 18,Thur- I asked again about flooring delivery, and operations manager replied "yours is paid, released and sitting ready. I guarantee it." (see Aug 11 for same excuse).
Aug 19,Fri- I asked about flooring delivery, he said "around 5 or 6 o'clock". no further communication.
Aug 26,Fri- Finally got back to us saying they are setup with install for Wednesday Aug 31 and they will confirm on Monday (Aug 29). My response was the tear out is not complete and all the flooring is not in the house to acclimate. I told them all flooring must be in the house prior to install being started.
Aug 29,Mon- I asked about delivery and I was told they had to check.
Sep 1,Thur- contacted again with a Delivery date of Monday, but when I told them Monday was a holiday they changed it to Tuesday, Sept 6.
More to come...
Concerning the cost of the dehydrator, the Kitchen cabinet side panel replacement and fans, I do not consider this "discount" as these cost were incurred because of their negligence of making sure the valve actually turned the water off.
Our original complaint, of not receiving all the flooring has not been addressed. I still want the rest of the flooring delivered, and to acclimate as promised. I must submit this information to Revdex.com prior to seeing if their latest promise of delivery is followed thru on. I will notify Revdex.com if they actually deliver, but I want to warn others this company has no customer service and does not do what they say. They have caused delays to project beyond belief with feeble and unrelated excuses.
Concerning the talking with us 2 to 5 times a day, I have not spoke with him on the phone for at least 4 weeks. Would he ask his carrier to send us a list of the phone calls he made to our numbers
I don't consider the $1500.00 a "discount" for tear out because the contract specified "Tear out and haul away with disposal No Charge per the operations manager, Tear out carpet, pad and tack strip with disposal No Charge per operations manager.
Sincerely,[redacted]
