Ms***We sincerely apologize that the cost of this specific repair is expensive. Abs modules and pumps are very expensive and have to be purchased form Volkswagen for programming reasonsWe did however include an option for purchasing a used pump from a salvage yard in your original
quote. It was approx$cheaper than installing a new abs pump. It is recommended that you have your abs pump replace to prevent brake failure. Abs pumps do contain brake fluid. Abs pumps are pumps which pump brake fluid for the brake system and they do leak occasionally. I have included a picture of a abs pump on a Volkswagen that is leaking brake fluid. We treat everyone in the Fort Hood and surrounding areas as if we were all from a small town. We take pride in the opportunity to repair vehicles for the men and women of our military.
