I signed up to eusoh.com pet insurance on 01/02/2020 and met my deductible of $250. for my 14 year old wheaten terrier who was healthy at that time. No pre-existing conditions for a pure-bred. During the course of January she developed SARDS which was diagnosed March 3rd in Montreal. I noticed in February she became lethargic, had a blood test and found she was anemic, put on lixotinic and a chinese herb, my vet said she had months to live.
I went for a second opinion by referral in Vermont and X-rays showed a mass IN her spleen.(Not to be confused by another fleshy non cancerous benign mass in her armpit).
Before surgery I asked Eusoh if they would pre authorize the estimate which I gave them. The VP *** gave me an estimate of what they approximately would cover. I proceeded with surgery by *** successfully. The mass and liver biopsy came back benign.
I submitted the $***. invoice to Eusoh and it was declined based on what they claim my dog had eye & skin infections in 2019 that I did not disclose to them. They claim it is part of their policy.
I was denied payment for what they would cover at $***, my account was deactivated and I received a threatening intimidating email calling me a liar, falsified vet information. I was so taken aback I replied to owner ***. This doctor should not be in the pet industry. I question the legitimacy of their operation, existence.
In February, I had a similar experience where they denied payment for my dog's eyes who was bumping into furniture, walls because of SARDS. They first denied me coverage for my vet appointment, then agreed to pay based on "bumping into things".
This organization is a scam, they are eradic in their re-embursements. At a moment of distress, they refuse to pay the estimate that I feel I am duly owed, they jumped to an incorrect conclusion with speed and not allowing me any appeal. Customer service is the worse I have seen in my 64 years.

Dear Revdex.com:
We are responding to the above-referenced complaint made by *** against our company, Eusoh, Inc. Eusoh rigorously denies the accusations made by . ***.
1. Eusoh is not an "insurance" company as claimed by . ***. We are a community-based platform that allows members to share in the unexpected cost of care for their pets. Eusoh's function is to ensure all members fulfill their contractual promise to help, and that people do not attempt to join the membership under false pretenses.
2. It is important to understand that whether a claim is honored or denied, the cost of all claims is shared by the membership. There is no financial impact on Eusoh.
3. On January 2, 2020, . *** applied to join a specific community group for healthy animals. The application included the following text:
"The Eusoh Dog group cannot accept pets with any previous or ongoing medical concerns."
In his Eusoh application, . *** stated that his dog had no previous/ongoing medical concerns. In his Revdex.com complaint, . *** says that, at the time of his Eusoh application, his dog "...was healthy at the time. No pre-existing conditions." Eusoh subsequently determined that these declarations were not true.
4. After joining Eusoh, there is a 30-day waiting period before incurred expenses are considered eligible for reimbursement. 32 days after joining Eusoh, . *** submitted expenses for his dog, which Eusoh honored and reimbursed him $***. However, his account was flagged for review, and a request was made to review his veterinary records.
5. The diagnostic test noted above indicated the need for surgery. Per . ***'s Revdex.com complaint he "asked Eusoh if they would pre-authorize" the surgery. . *** was told that Eusoh does not pre-authorize treatment, and all claims are subject to audit after-the-fact. . *** went ahead with the surgery and submitted a claim for
$***.
6. . ***'s veterinarian provided his records which indicated that his dog had numerous pre-existing medical conditions, including SARDS referenced in . ***'s Revdex.com complaint. The Veterinarian's records demonstrate these were known prior to his joining Eusoh. In September 2019, the vet noted certain conditions that led to the diagnostic tests referenced in #4 above. Of particular interest is a note included in the vet's record:
"Owner going to get insurance prior to doing thyroid test."
. ***'s claim was denied and his membership in Eusoh was terminated.
The evidence indicates that . *** committed a premeditated fraud against Eusoh and its membership. He has exacerbated the situation by harassing our employees and defaming Eusoh on social media. We are working with legal counsel to determine the course of action against . ***. It is our understanding that, because his fraud crossed state lines and involved mail and wire, his actions may be elevated to a federal felony.
Please advise if you require any more information on this matter from Eusoh.
